panic buying and panic selling
« on: July 10, 2018, 09:01:02 PM »
a few months ago sellers panicked into one of the causes of bitcoin falling drastically. but what if panic buying? whether panic buying can be a factor that can make bitcoin rise again.

if it's become the cause of bitcoin rise, why till today we still feel the bad market? do you agree if we buy some bitcoin, hold it, and not sell your bitcoin ?

news like this (which are showing direct adoption of bitcoin) are great but they won't exactly lead to a rise right away. specially when for every real good news there is 20 false FUD on the internet bashing bitcoin these days

Panic buying is definitely a thing, it's most likely why people bought into BTC when it was 17-20k each.  People see the price rising and don't want to miss out on the gravy train, but then sell when the price drops too and basically hand someone else all their money purely because they were impatient.  Trading with emotions is the devils lettuce.

When market are in bearish trends some great investors would make a panic buying because the price of cryptos are in cheaper price and they can afford to buy more and stored in a cold wallet. But when bullish trends comes it will inversely proportional that panic selling would also happen because those with more stocks will sell their portfolio for a great profit to earn.

Yes many people who doesnt idea about market fall they are afraid of losing instead they stay calm because investors right this time are relaxing because of most ico this year is more scam they are now afraid of investing thats why our market is falling. But every forum like bitcointalk and altcoinstalks are now doing thier best to filtered those fake and scam ico hopefully for the next months or a year it will be back it to normal our market. So people dont you have to worry because i know it will be back to normal stay calm and  dont panic everything will be ok soon.

To buy bitcoin and hold for a long time is believing that at the end profit from investment is quiet sure. I think it is also defends to our capacity to avail bitcoin. If you have enough budget no problem to buy. But if you don't have enough money you can stay joining bounties and wait for sometime to earn. Although selling should not be done in panic because it will gonna end regrets or success but usually regrets.

People are really lemmings.. I talked to this guy about buying at the bottom a few weeks ago and he was CONVINCED and drank everyone's bear koolaid that this was going to 3k or lower.. he sat there contemplated buying for 3 weeks... he bought today during the fomo rise... it may turn out okay but if he's clearly trading on fud/fomo/emotion which can never be good.

It is not the factor to rise the price of bitcoin because  there are peopled that we called big whales. They can manipulate and totally affected the market. Once we sell bitcoin in our panic moment whales will buy it.

There is no proven event of panic buying on Bitcoin in which most of use believed it was due to manipulation of big whales that if they start to pump the price it will attract more people to invest that is why you wonder that the real demand of Bitcoin in the market did not increase in spite of cheaper price, this is because most of the people was not attracted to invest due to cheaper price but it was due to the big whales is pumping it up to make it look like a bullish run that just started.

in the world of cryiptocurrency it's commonplace. but I also have to be careful in making decisions when it's time to buy and when it's time to sell and when it's time to hold. because it should be in mind before investing .

In my opinion panic selling is for those people who are in great needs because sometimes we definitely experienced things that we couldn't expect. To provide the needs bitcoin can absolutely save. Maybe not panic selling but just in great needs.

Emotion is not good basis of our decision specially in crypto. Emotions won't help us to deal professionally the market when it is in the lower position even in the higher. Selling and buying bitcoin can affect the motion of price but it is not enough until the right time of real rise of bitcoin.

Panic selling and panic buying both affect Btc price. Panic selling increases total supply and hence a fall in demand. On the other hand, panic buying increases demand and hence a subsequent rise in Btc.
