I think ripple is good for long term at the same time for a short term. You can hold ripple until it reach 1$ and buy again when decline to .06 . some sell and some hold.

I personally prefer use ripple for short term investment. Because ripple is stable coin. I can use it for day trading.

In my opinion It depends what you want, I prefer use ripple for short term. For long term i prefer bitcoin  and ethereum.
