Is BTC the new gold ?

How many times you heard some question ?
But the time goes by and I've been wondering if it really what a BTC today really is.

As we discuss here in the forum everyday, the main reason for BTC not to be taken seriously as digital money like it was invented are:

- its fee cost for lower transaction
- delay and time of the transaction to be approved
- its price that change constantly up
- it's not designed to accept so many transactions

What do you think ?

in my country live Bitcoin as a commodity for future finance.
and the founder of the exchange in my country lives he said that bitcoin is digital gold.

Gold can be means the most expensive and a worth to dying for just to have it. Bitcoin value is not a simple price rather it is the highest form of investing for hold or trade purposes. In fact, one coin can be equal to one car.

Yes I think Bitcoin is digital gold. Bitcoin is an asset and good for long term invesent. Bitcoin is more profitable than gold. It is my opinion.

Yes I think bitcoin is new gold.Bitcoin is more valuable and more profitable than gold. I prefer bitcoin than gold.

Yes, I think we can consider as BTC as a new Gold due it's expensive value that we can compare to Gold but the only difference of bitcoin and ETH is the market value because the value of gold is very stable unlike bitcoin which is very volatile.

Bitcoin and gold are absolutely different in nature and incomparable things. They are even in different worlds - physical and virtual. You can even say that they are the complete opposite. The only thing that brings them closer is the priority use of bitcoin as a means of storing value. However, this value is not comparable to the value of gold. Gold can not significantly lose its value, bitcoin can lose it due to panic and loss of demand, and then prices, for several days. Digital gold bitcoin can disappear and turn into dust in just a few days.

Using your description as stating Bitcoin is preferably for holding purposes only, Bitcoin is like gold. Both are expensive and is not easily used as transaction from one to the other.

This is just like holding gold some decades ago but for which I see it as the highest form of gold.  Even though its price sometimes flee to it lowest of point or price, it is still going to hold it for sometimes for a price to rise an that is the same way gol was been held some time ago

Undeniably, bitcoin is known to have a good store of value. That's the reason why some people considered bitcoin as a digital gold. But  unlike gold bitcoin has no physical appearance.

Yes I think Bitcoin is more valuable than gold. Bitcoin is also more profitable and so popular now.

Imo BTC has become gold 2.0 - just a store of value and actually - it's not a good thing for it in time to come.

Gold is real produk and bitcoin digital produk, just same for investment.

I think bitcoin is more than gold. Bitcoin is digital gold ,It is more profitable and more valuable than. It is also the future currency.
