Large Chinese insurance company partners with VeChain.

One of China’s leading insurance companies the Peoples Insurance Company of China (PICC) and VeChain have formed a partnership to incorporate and use blockchain technology.

VeChain whose headquarters is based in Shanghai is the first blockchain company to a partnership with the Chinese government. VeChain was first launched in 2015, and today it currently holds the 17th place in the top twenty cryptocurrency market. Chain's partnership with this Chinese insurance giant will defiantly add more value to their company. All parties are sure to gain from this partnership.

On 5th September, VeChain Foundation announced their partnership with BYD Auto Co., Ltd, a Chinese automobile manufacturer, and DNV GL, an international accredited registrar. The collaboration is an effort to solve the issue of carbon emission imbalances through the use of VeChain’s blockchain-based Proof of Concept protocol.
