Yes it is ethereum is also depends his value to Bitcoin because it is more ahead to ethereum that's why most of the investors invest a bigger amount to Bitcoin when it hits his lowest value in the market it get the biggest profit after it started to increase.

It's true..... The price of ethereum is dependent on the price of Bitcoin and not just ethereum, its so with all other altcoins too, thats why as bitcoin price fell all other coins price fell. The price of altcoins is directly proportionally to the price of Bitcoin.

I think why all Coin always follows Bitcoin prices because Bitcoin is a source of income for all Coins in circulation, so if Bitcoin goes down everything will go down because all are chasing Bitcoin prices, so it can be said that Bitcoin is the king of all Altcoin.
