You can hold the token by looking at the market situation and see the development of the coin in the future. I once invested in the ICO and held the coin from 2017 to the present, the price of the coin is very low right now, requiring proper research and luck to hold the coin you have.

Holding is a very good strategy in crypto investment, especially when you invested with a low capital or you earned few tokens through bounty. But this strategy is not so good for every coin, especially if the project is not very promising

Yes. I am a victim of the word HOLD. I often hold my coins when market conditions are not supportive when the market goes down. Therefore, if I sell it, I will lose. Not only I am a victim of HOLD. But I'm sure almost everyone and users here have also been a victim of hold here.

Remembering the word hold, hold and hold is a special characteristic of people who don't have knowledge in the world of commerce.
In my opinion the victim's hold is there but not too much, why ?? Because they have set their commitment to stay afloat even though the price is gone. Precisely people who often sell cheap coins that become victims. They joined the trade in the crypto world without any knowledge. Yeah and finally they went failed.

The hold is identical to the word fortune that is delayed. In this case belief is also needed but the problem is the level of patience that will bring the defeat to their self.

I believe no one in this crypto business is immune to the downside of HODLing. I for once do not believe hodling for a long time is the problem. The problem lies in the coin. Most coins fall way below their ICO price when they hit the market. If you are a possessor of this coin and you do not want to make a loss, the only option you've got is to hodl.

I been a victim of this before. Since I am just a newbie in crypto I trust the word of others until my $1,2k crush down to $96. So I'm  disappointe but there's nothing I can do except to accept the situation.

Why do you call a victim of HOLD? HOLD is only one of the choice in investing or trading. People just give you suggestion but everything depends on you. I think to suffer losses is a risk of working as investors or traders. You shouldn't blame others, you decide everything yourself. If you HOLD valuable coins, I don't think you will suffer losses.

It's a bad period but I can assure you that holding for long term is one of best way to make a good profit if the coin is good...
think about prices of Bitcoin 3 years ago or ETH 2 years ago or RIPPLE ..even if now they are low compared to end of 2017 they are much higher than some years ago.

The important thing is if the project is good or not...

I can say one thing, that already a lot of these coins, which I received and if immediately sold, then I would have more money in Fiat than now. There were cases that I successfully held and waited for a good jump, and then only sold. In most cases, everything was deplorable, although now we can only wait(
