No assurance if the tokens will drop when hit the exchange. May or may not drop so your critical analysis must be prioritized to define your future. Normally the new altcoins once the market is red the tokens will drop lower than ICO price.

as an investor or bounty hunter we must be able to choose a good ico to get the good results too. A good ico will produce the coins that also good in the market and we will get the profit.  therefore it is important for us to choose ico correctly in order to get the satisfying results.

I usually buy ICO coins during the release of bounty rewards to bounty hunters who participated in that project
because the price will surely drop and when the price drops it is way cheaper than buying in the actual ICO. But
it is also risky so it is better to invest with due diligence.

Yes, the price of the token when it is included in the stock exchange is definitely under the ICO. Prices will go up but will wait longer. And if you want to buy coins, of course, that's a very good thing and you can use long-term investments.

I think to avoid this, some ICOs require people who buy at below the ICO price to lock their tokens up for some period of time. Some stage the lockups so that they don’t all release at the same time.

for me its a  yes,.. some of the project have high ICO rate but after the TGE or publish in an exchange price fall down..
