Can bitcoin survive without altcoins?

Yes, I Think bitcoin is the main foundation of cryptocurrency, and it is the first sstart of cryptoworld. Yes, it can still survive but there will be no competitors so the value of coin will either become low or nothing really happens.

How about if we change the question to be "can bitcoin survive without altcoins?". I assume it can survive, but it will be a little hard to achieve its goals to change the world. Let's discuss it..

I think it is not about the first crypto but it is likely as the main coin in crypto space. You can see that to make prices of all coins increasing, it is needed to see the price of Bitcoin increasing firstly. As we know that the prices of altcoins will always follow the BItcoin price.

Bitcoin was OK without altcoins years ago, although it was cheap. If altcoins suddenly die, Bitcoin can become a very expensive cryptocurrency, the monopolist. Suppose it will not happen as some altcoins are very useful even not for investments.

Don't you see that bitcoin is already surviving without the help of altcoins, I think we see how bitcoin increased in price value since last two months but did not have any major impact on altcoins everybody was expecting that altcoins will also grow with bitcoin as usual but that did not actually happen altcoins only struggling to rise since the crypto market is some how down.

Yes bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency it created without any other altcoins and now it has largest market capitalization than any other altcoins actually this is the unique cryptocurrency so definitely it can survive without other altcoins.

When we say this I believe we have no clue about the history of Cryptos, as if we do then I just don’t think we will ever be able to say that. Bitcoin alone is the major part of the history, so if we think that without Altcoins there won’t be any Bitcoin, then it’s just wrong thought. You could think opposite and that will be okay, but for sure but the actual put up way since that makes very little sense at all.
