Yeah, I have been here for a short period of time but I did notice a lot of things that are different here, and I liked them, but not at the start, because at the start it was a little difficult for me to move around but now I begin to like this forum a lot, as there are many good threads here, and I enjoy reading them. And talking about rules, I can see they are different too.

I have seen many members (teleported) wanted to see the same feature they see on BTT and I am also one of them, but I think not everything should be improved according to that forum as ALTT has its own reputation now, plus the admin here is so active while there is less.

It is normal for new users to experience this, but the problem is wanting to compare one forum with another, or having the same characteristics. Each forum is different and has different rules, moderation is also different, especially to try to protect less experienced users from possible scams.

I understand that at first the impression is that navigation between so many subforums can be somewhat complicated and can disorient the user (it's something that happened to me at the beginning) but that feeling changes quickly when the user spends a few hours in the forum. I think the fact that each forum is different is what makes them truly unique.

Well said, I also didn't realize this until I spent some time here, and started to love the way the forum works, even till now there are many things I am unaware of. And I think that's ok for the moment, I know you can't break rules if you are a moral person but one thing I did not know about copy and paste statements (which is they have to be red in color).

Well, the point is forum was new for teleported users, they didn't want to spend time to understand it, or either they didn't like it (including me) but when they started to spend time (on which they didn't have any option but to spend) they also started to like it. Plus admin and mods of this forum also modified many sections of this forum to make it less scattered.

I'll tell you that I come from the 2000s and I really used a lot of forums
there are really different structures, styles, discussions and people
so just see it as a second home without necessarily trying to compare it to other things
it's a totally different thing, we can import what we have learned elsewhere here

The best thing as users, from my point of view, is to use the knowledge acquired in both forums, since in reality the forums have always been large databases full of documentation and experiences. Comparisons are unnecessary, since each administrator or group of administrators has different points of view and ways of working.

The rules are like in each house, they tend to be different as well as the involvement of the staff. If we look here for what we have elsewhere, it doesn't make much sense to move from one place to another.

I don't like when people compare two forums. The founders have their reasons for making their designs the way they like, I'm sure that many of the founders has seen many designs before they settle for the ones they later host on server.

How ever, if there is one thing I will like to see in this forum is the ability to delete without prior of admin, this is 2024 and not 2010 where post are been moderated by the moderators and if they fear that some people are going to delete their old post, then they should make sure that old post older than the day of announcement cannot be deleted. That way many information in the Forum can preserve for many informationis on this forum.

that's exactly what happened in the past when the forums were heavily used
did you see a nice plugin in another forum? you were immediately there to propose it in yours or in your friends' forum
I repeat, I lived through the golden age of forums and the golden age of chats like IRC and so on, we just have to learn there is not ONE forum, but many forums

Yes also about Originality, about how each forum has its own characteristics ranging from regulations,
benefit systems and several other support systems. It cannot all be generalized and must have the same features.

Every forum has advantages and disadvantages, if you discuss it, there will be a lot of differences,
but that's not what matters, what matters is user comfort, system security and how the forum can continue to grow.

I as a new user (just active) here must also understand and be able to adjust,
so that when we are in any forum, we can adapt and not always criticize on every difference in forum rules and systems.

Have you never heard that comparisons are hateful? It is a very popular saying. Comparing in itself is not a problem, it becomes a problem when people try to find the same things in two different places. Many users say that there are too many subforums and that they get lost browsing the forum, for example, and that is something that the administrator continues to work on and listen to user opinions.

Wanting the same things does not make any sense as I have said in some of my posts, since both the forums, the administrator and the moderators think very differently. In this forum moderation is much more active than in BTT, and that is something that I really like, since together we can make a much better community. Making it an open community, and with more quality every day, makes it totally different.

I know that there were already already high quality posters and knowledgeable  altcoinstalks users before in this forum, But with more users from Bitcointalk teleporting here, some making here their new home, I believe that there will be a surge in the quality of discussions that will be ongoing and raised in this forum.

Altcoinstalks is shifting to the next level. and I am happy to be a part of that.

Congratulations to you in this forum, there are many experienced people in this forum and the quality of posts is improving even though the quality of posts is standard from past. Therefore, to enjoy the forum more, a large presence is required, then everyone can enjoy the fun together. These forums are of great benefit as there are many places to discuss and are moderated by native boards and experienced moderators. As many experienced people as there are are ready to take this forum forward nicely.

I like the statement you have made and what I like more is this statement because I left the Bitcointalk forum a long time ago and was more comfortable and enjoyed making posts here on altcoinstalks.
Indirectly, I immediately thought hard about creating a good post because we all know that Bitcointalk members are very smart and very critical in every action they take every day.

I like you with critical thoughts about the quality of posts on the altcoinstalks forum because it will improve the quality of posts from myself and including all members on altcoinstalks.
And also include every step you take in the report every time you find a member breaking the rules in the forum and this is very reasonable to do so you can increase post ratings, forum ratings and reduce spammers.

The quality of this forum as already started increasing and I know with time it would be way more better. All thanks to the effort the @admin is putting, and those  who where here all through keeping the forum active till now. And specially those who teleported their account to this forum, and  every one that has been contributing to this forum . And have been seeing some great changes lately , that's actually making this forum to be more fun . And know more are yet to come .

exactly, different forum with their own unique perspective. So there's no need for any comparison, we just got to adopt in any forum we found ourselves. And the forum has even made that easy, by given one the privilege to bring ideas that would help in bettering or developing the forum, so comparing forums is unnecessary. We should just be free and enjoy what the forum offers and same time contributing to the forum.

The simplest but worth listening , because others keep looking for high quality post when we are here for sharing and learning , I wish that we must not violating  rules and try to improve our quality each time (little by Little) so we will be letting the whole community have improvements also specially that those account from BTT is also here.
