I don't know what you mean by number 2 but personally I'm not sure it can hit $80K this month. I expect a correction before we can see such figures and after the correction $80K would mean nothing and 6 digits would be what we will be riding on. If Bitcoin can be $73K and close above that same day then there would be more room for uptrend. It doesn't hurt to be cautious will see how things goes.

there will be lots to grow when the halving come. the demand still is being bought in the market which is it maintains this way, the price would sky rocket further when the supply drops. but i think $80k will be achieved in the next few weeks after halving. the market needs a little sideways to sustain this bullish market which 80k will be achieve in May. the market price will keep on running sideways ranging from 70-75k just like what is doing right now from 65-70k.
this is just how i see it to happen. but more users will also be selling their BTC and crypto holdings as economy crashes.

If we do reach $80K this month without a correction, I fear how huge the correction would be when it starts. Placed accumulation on hold. I also voted for no with only 20 days to go and the price at $70k and with the market price still going up and down it's unlikely that it will go up to $80k with only a few days to go, but I'm sure it will eventually reach that price after the halving.

I don't know, it is something difficult to predict. Bitcoin can be $80k or below $70k. But ideally it should be above $70k because the price of Bitcoin potentially increase high in the halving time. Most people expect the price to reach $80k, I even think it will be above $80k. But it may be not very soon in this month. Maybe it will be achieved in the next few months.

I don't know, it is something difficult to predict. Bitcoin can be $80k or below $70k. But ideally it should be above $70k because the price of Bitcoin potentially increase high in the halving time. I don't have the exact reason as to why. It's just my gut feeling is saying that it will not reach that price. :D
Like what happened a few weeks ago where we've seen Bitcoin reaching its previous ATH of $69,000 then going down because there are many sellers at that price, I also believe that it will happen again when Bitcoin reaches its new ATH of around $73,000-$74,000. There will be sellers at that price maybe that it might take time before it will be surpassed. The good thing though is that the more it touches that price, the better because over time, it will surpass that price especially now that in a few weeks, we are entering the bull market (hopefully).
I'm bullish on Bitcoin, and the whole crypto market, but I don't think Bitcoin will reach $80,000 this month. It will reach it for sure a few months after the halving event.

My answer is also no, looking historically, immediately after each halving, the price of Bitcoin went down (after a while it certainly came back and was a serious up trend).
Of course, this doesn't have to mean anything, because we currently have some additional factors (like ETFs) that have a significant impact on the growth of the BTC value.

I hope btc can successfully touch the price of 80k. But if I had to speculate then my answer would probably be no. But previously I also didn't believe Bitcoin would make an ATH this year. But in reality it turns out that BTC made ATH this year. And I hope my speculation is wrong again this time. And finally BTC could reach a price of 80k even before the end of April this year. ;D

Not sure bitcoin hit 80k dollar before April 30 2024, actually in this month has bitcoin halving moment with potential bitcoin increasing drastically depend usually halving moment in last several edition but I doubt with this edition after bitcoin price decreasing since near future with halving.
Left one week only but bitcoin keep easy going down and looks not get any positive impact with halving, maybe the halving effect have been over after bitcoin creating new all time high last month around $73k, now seems not really believing with bitcoin potential raise to $80k before end this month.

Have you chekced the current price? It dropped again to $65k today.
It is true that the price could increase to $71k yesterday. But it dropped again significantly today.
This makes me not really sure about $80k in halving time.

It's true that this latest bitcoin price collapse makes me very doubtful that bitcoin will ever go to $80k. It's very difficult to increase the price that much. For this year's halving, I didn't really push Bitcoin to high prices. At least Bitcoin has reached a new ATH at $73k a few weeks ago.

So true. And today bitcoin experienced a decrease of several percent to a price of 65k and now it has risen again to a price of 67k. Seeing this makes it difficult for us to think that BTC will rise to 80k by the end of this month. And the focus now may be to return to prices above 70k. And if it fails then a correction may occur again. But in the long run 80k is very close to reach.

Seeing this makes it difficult for us to think that BTC will rise to 80k by the end of this month. And the focus now may be to return to prices above 70k. And if it fails then a correction may occur again. But in the long run 80k is very close to reach.
We all know that the price of Bitcoin will going higher soon and reach $100k. But the thing is that we don't know the exact date. Just like what you said that we are in the midweek of the month but the price currently in the $63k, a low chance that $80k will be hit. Instead of thinking when will the price reach $80k, I should think how deep will the price go.

Of course, the market is not always predictable, and I assume that everything will be born if the demand for BTC is high, then it will rise, but if the pressure continues to come, I think, as you said, prepare a reserve fund for the accumulation of more BTC holdings.

Yeah, I also think that BTC and the entire crypto market will need to go through a period of re-accumulation for a few months after the halving in order to continue growing. The small bubble that started in late 2022 has probably burst and we are not seeing the impressive growth that we saw in 2023. The halving and the scarcity narrative have probably been priced in and the halving will become a sell-the-news event. I also hope that June could be the time for the BTC price to rally and for DeFi summer to arrive, attracting new money into the market to start a major bull run.

I got tired keep hold it after bitcoin dropping every days, since close few days with halving less unexpected with current bitcoin price keep go down. But believing the holder is the winner with bitcoin potential around 60 days to 90 days after halving has moment break to higher price.
Once time hodl always hodl, by the way keep buy back or enough with current bitcoin hodl awhile exactly many moment bitcoin get correction and looks more excited to buy back.

I think everyone begins to feel doubtful about the possibility of a new ATH in the halving. Today, the Bitcoin price dropped again to $61k after it recovered around $65k yesterday. I don't understand why the price of Bitcoin easily dropped currently. We know halving is only in few days, but the market is moving opposite. Ideally, the market should begin increasing constantly.

Currently the halving has occurred and it seems there is still no good information for Ethereum, hopefully Ethereum will soon be accepted into the ETF so that the altcoin season will reach soon. This will probably be the determining factor for when the altcoin season will occur.

Hodl will it continue to be, even if bitcoin decreases the way we didn't expect in this halving and after the halving. Currently, bitcoin is beginning to give a green candlelight of recent, I don't know whether this is a temporary price increase for investors to buy bitcoin because of FOMO. However, whatever position the market is driving at(bull market or correction) I think a DCA strategy is the ideal way to follow up the crypto market presently

With the way things are right now in the cryptocurrency market, there is a big chance that Bitcoin will be moving sideways in the remaining days of April, therefore it would be so hard for it to soon be at the $80K gate. There is a mixed signal coming from many ETFs so we can't expect an avalanche of new demand coming from it, maybe in the next few months things can be a little different. However, I am expecting that there can be a big surge for Bitcoin in the last quarter of 2024, or so I believed. As old crypto believers in the market, we all know that Bitcoin can be a very unpredictable beast and even the beast prediction can be thrown to the trash anytime...so let's wait and see what can be.

Now that we are only 7 days until the end of the month, it is very likely that the price will not reach $80k, and as things stand at the moment, it seems that it will be a big challenge to reach even $70k. For those who follow ETFs inflows recently, they have noticed that funds have been buying practically nothing for the past twenty days, so although it seems that something is happening in the last few days, it is far from the pressure that existed a month or two ago.
I wonder if the investors were just betting on the halving and now they got cold feet when they saw that nothing important actually happened?

A little bit of recovery is good, but it is clear now that we are not going to get it within the next week. We should realize that we are going to face a lot of trouble, and should be considering that as reality now. I get that people wanted a lot of action on the halving month, but if you check the previous ones you will see that we have missed our chances last time around as well, so its not really a weird situation that we are missing this one as well. We will do a lot better when the time permits, we just need to wait, but not during this month, this week will be a decent week, but not that great for sure.

I think for Ethereum to move together sequentially with Bitcoin, it need to have a driven force that will make people to create a hype around it just like the way Bitcoin does have people around it with halving history that after the block reward get halve, the Bull run do began bit right now, there is nothing right now bullish on ethereum.
Perhaps the team might have one they have set already for the bull run and they have not just inform the public, they don't want people to use it to buy rumor but the community need it to get to 10k to make Ethereum bullish like the journey of Bitcoin history.

There are at least 300 Bitcoins that must be sold quickly to break through the resistance at that price. If calculated using USDT, it requires quite a lot of money, around 20 million USD to pump to a price of $70k.

The month of April has not been too unfair. This is because it got some green and red as well. But at any point in time the price wasn't stagnant. It's moving on either directions. 70k is possible but not 80k

You are right though, it's not easy for just retail investors to invest that much money in such a short period unless there is a large purchase from an industrial investor or maybe an unknown whale or something unlikely but possible. We never know, a company such as MicroStrategy might add to their stack and buy some more before the bull run hits the market.
Bitcoin has been pretty stagnant lately, mostly because people aren't buying with open arms as there isn't much movement and maybe there would be more money flowing in once Bitcoin shows some positive movement soon.

And now that there are only 3 days even 70k looks to be a dream.
Every 10k added to the price means an additional 5 million in invested needed each day just to offset the coin production, on top of that people liquidating and profit takers and the amounts needed start to become really demanding.
I think most of the growth was not due to increasing demand but more because of diminishing supply, as more and more decided not to part with their coins at a certain price, but that can't go on forever, I don't expect a fast bull run and more like a slow growth as cash out after cashout will be slowly bought by the market..

Seems you have forgotten that bitcoin halving has its own special effects on the market because after this phase we could likely see the effects on the market. What just happened is that this month had already past so we should be looking at this year ending and beginning of next year 2025.

No the price won't moved as they expected rather it would come at the expected time which you can't predicts when it would happened but as a long term trader or investor you should how the market works or maybe how the bitcoin halving operates, even though this year has seems to change the history of bitcoin by seeing ATH before halving, this doesn't change anything just that it was because of some positive effects that occurred on bitcoin which makes it to appear this way.

With the current price of bitcoin at 63k+, I don't think that it will be possible for us to see 80k in two days time. We have just experienced the halving, and the price of bitcoin will remain like this for some months before we can begin to see a pump in price based on history, but nobody knows what will happen next. I hope to see 80k maybe June.

I doubt May its moment for bitcoin reach to $80k after the beginning of this month bitcoin get large correction amount although currently recovery back above $61k. Have large percentage increasing for bitcoin reach to $80k and one month I don't think has enough moment for bitcoin return back to higher price.

possible 80k at the beginning of Q3 in my opinion, as we saw today BTC started to move up again after experiencing a decline earlier this week which made BTC holders panic, within 3 days BTC had reached just 63k$, so 80k$ in 2024 will definitely happen

As bitcoin couldn't reach $80k before the end of April, is it okay to say that it won't reach such an amount in May since we are in May already.
For me, when I expect to see the $80k price tag should be around June. By then bitcoin had stabilized in price of $70k +. Maybe before the end of June, we can be speculating to see a price of $80k.
All these are just speculation of bitcoin price, not that I am too sure about that, to foresee the future price of bitcoin. Even if bitcoin hits $80k this month or next month, I am not selling until it reaches that amount I feel like selling some part of my bitcoin holdings
I doubt May its moment for bitcoin reach to $80k after the beginning of this month bitcoin get large correction amount although currently recovery back above $61k. Have large percentage increasing for bitcoin reach to $80k and one month I don't think has enough moment for bitcoin return back to higher price.

This May, I don't know the kind of good news that will push bitcoin to $80k from this 62k + price it has been fluctuating at for the past 2days. Nothing is impossible in crypto anyway, we might experience a surprising price increase that will leave us wowed as the same we get to see the ATH of bitcoin before the halving

We can't say, rather all we can do is speculate on the next price of bitcoin, not that we going to get the next price correctly.
I am just trying to be positive about bitcoin since June can be regarded as months after halving(2 months). possible is it that bitcoin could reach $80k or less. Whichever way, it is okay if we find bitcoin to fluctuate above $65k + to $80k

Maybe Bitcoin will make a price increase to $80k when the SEC accepts an Ethereum ETF, but for now it seems like the SEC still hasn't made a statement on the development of an Ethereum ETF.
If you say the Ethereum ETF will be accepted in the next few months then it should not be later than June because what he/she said is that it will not increase in June, but according to what you said, in the next few months.
