100 Million VTHO Airdrop for VET Holders

To celebrate the launch of the VeChain (VET) mainnet, the VET team has provided 100 million VTHO tokens to be airdropped to all Binance users holding VET.

The 100 million VTHO will be split between all users holding VET at 2018/08/01 00:00 AM (UTC). The amount of VTHO airdropped to each VET holder will correspond to their percentage holding of the total VET balance held by all Binance users at the time of the snapshot.

Note:

VET balances under 1 VET (including those in trade orders) will not be eligible for the airdrop.
Distribution of this airdrop will be completed prior to 2018/08/05.
This airdrop is independent of the normal monthly VTHO distribution.

Binance Supports Hcash (HSR) Mainnet Swap to HyperCash (HC)

Binance will support the Hcash (HSR) mainnet swap to HyperCash (HC). We will carry out the mainnet swap in the following steps:

1 Deposits and withdrawals of HSR will be suspended starting from 2018/08/06 8:00 AM (UTC), at which point we will begin the mainnet swap.
Important: Please ensure that you leave sufficient time for your HSR deposits to be fully processed prior to this time.
2 Trading will be halted in all HSR trading pairs at 2018/08/08 4:00 AM (UTC). We will take an immediate snapshot of all HSR balances at the exact same time (2018/08/08 4:00 AM UTC), and begin the distribution of HC to all eligible users at a ratio of 1 HSR = 1 HC.
3 A further announcement relating to the opening of trading will be made at a later date.
Please note: Once trading opens in the new HC trading pairs, all prior HSR trading pairs will be delisted from the exchange.

Binance Supports Red Pulse (RPX) Token Swap to PHOENIX (PHX)

Binance will support the Red Pulse (RPX) token swap to PHOENIX (PHX). We will carry out the token swap in the following steps:

1 Deposits and withdrawals of RPX will be suspended starting from 2018/08/11 4:00 AM (UTC), at which point we will begin the token swap.
Important: Please ensure that you leave sufficient time for your RPX deposits to be fully processed prior to this time.
2 Trading will be halted in all RPX trading pairs at 2018/08/14 4:00 AM (UTC). We will take an immediate snapshot of all RPX balances at the exact same time (2018/08/14 4:00 AM UTC), and begin the distribution of PHX to all eligible users at a ratio of 1 RPX = 1 PHX.
3 Trading will open for the new PHX/BTC, PHX/ETH and PHX/BNB trading pairs at 2018/08/17 4:00 AM (UTC). Deposits and withdrawals for PHX will also be opened at this time.

Deposits and withdrawals of YOYO will be suspended starting from 2018/08/08 4:00 AM (UTC), at which point we will begin the mainnet swap process. We will handle all technical requirements involved for all users holding YOYO.

Binance is a cryptocurrency exchange based in Hong Kong launched by developer named Changpeng Zhao in July 2017 and a good cryptocurrency binance exchanger according to many user assessors. Zhao Beijie Technology's company created an exchanger after its successful ICO project that generated up to $ 15 million.

Contentos – a digital media company – announced this Tuesday that it has secured investment from Binance, a Tokyo-based cryptocurrency exchange. Neither company revealed the exact figures involved but, in its statement, Contentos said the investment was worth “millions of dollars.”

At any rate, the firm will now be able to proceed with their plans with the support of Binance. Today’s announcement indicates that the fresh investment came from Binance Labs – an incubator and social impact fund that supports blockchain-based projects and start-ups.

Binance has announced a $2.5 million investment in Australian travel startup TravelbyBit in a move to introduce a blockchain-based, point-of-sale (POS) payment system across major airports around the world. Travelers will be able to visit local merchants at select international airports and use mobile wallets like Coinomi and Dash Wallet for POS payments. There are also plans to add support for Binance's official mobile wallet Trust Wallet.

Binance, one of the leading cryptocurrency trading platforms, has decided to delist four virtual coins - Bytecoin (BCN), ChatCoin (CHAT), Iconomi (ICN), and Triggers (TRIG) - as they do not meet the exchange quality standards, the company said on Tuesday.

 Binance published the delisting announcement several minutes after 07:15 UTC, causing an immediate price decline for all four coins. Triggers and ChatCoin reacted with the largest drop, plunging by about 30% each an hour after the news became public. Bytecoin lost around 20%, while Iconomi was down by more than 10% at that point.

Binance has claimed that its Ugandan subsidiary has signed up 40,000 users since launching one week ago, Coindesk reports. Recent estimates suggest that only 26 percent of Ugandan households have access to basic financial services.

Wei Zhou, the chief financial officer of Binance, indicated that the company will soon expand into Kenya, Nigeria, or South Africa next, stating: “Uganda is their pivot to reach out to other African markets.”

Binance Has Distributed ABC Bitcoin Cash (BCHABC), Bitcoin Cash SV (BCHSV) and Will Open Trade

 
Binancians colleague,

Binance has completed the distribution of ABC Bitcoin Cash (BCHABC) and Bitcoin Cash SV (BCHSV) to all eligible users. Each BCHABC and BCHSV balance is distributed to users in a ratio of 1 BCC = 1 BCHABC and 1 BCC = 1 BCHSV, based on a snapshot of all Bitcoin Cash balances (BCC) taken at 2018-1515 4:40:00 PM ( UTC).

Binance will open a trade for the new BCHABC / BTC, BCHABC / USDT, BCHSV / BTC and BCHSV / USDT trading pairs at 2018-16-16 8:00 (UTC). All previous BCC balances have been deleted from the user account and all BCC trading pairs have been deleted from the exchange.

BCHABC and BCHSV deposits and withdrawals will open after we consider the blockchain and wallet to be usable and stable.
