India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi has again underscored the importance of blockchain technology in agriculture.
Speaking at the Convocation of Sher-E-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu on Saturday, Modi emphasized the future prospects of Blockchain technology in the agricultural sector, placing it next to Artificial Intelligence (AI).
“There is one important technology in agriculture-artificial intelligence,” he said. “In the coming years Blockchain technology will have a major impact on the agriculture sector.

Blockchain technology is concerned with making transactions easy, safe and secured. Also it intends to move ahead of the impacts created by technology and internet. With Blockchain, farmers all around the world could be easily link up to exchange ideas, sell their products without intermediaries such as government among others. I really forward to this.
