Title: [exit scam waiting to happen] PureMixer.io self-vouching
Post by: hugeblack on December 31, 2023, 02:41:58 PM
Due to the high risk that may occur from using this mixer, I am re-posting this topic -----> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5479766.0

@PureMixerio claims that he is trying to do marketing ploy by creating a new account, claiming that new account mixed 10 Bitcoins to show that the mixer has the ability to mix funds, while when sending 10 Bitcoin  the link between the input and output addresses was easily identified, so So be careful when using this mixer and it is better to stay away from it. There is no honest company that promotes itself with lies and tricks.

I saw this case on BTT, what a poor and pathetic way to promote services.
They created a false accusation against themselves without any problems, to collect positive feedback because, well, they successfully solved the issue.

I would not trust them in any case.

I saw what LoyceV said on Bitcointalk, and unfortunately they manipulated this to make it look more impressive because someone did the process of mixing 10 BTC but it was he himself who did it.

To that extent they did this to make their reputation more valuable but what happened was easily identified as you said.

I don't believe their PureMixer.io mixing is so shady.

We'll see if they show up here or not.

I don't believe their PureMixer.io mixing is so shady.
The problem is that as soon as they did this trick, the link between their addresses was revealed, meaning that the mixing service was severely damaged as soon as they mixed 10 bitcoins. This means that all their reserves are within these limits, which is another lie because they said that their reserves are 50 bitcoins, and the maximum limit currently is more than 10 Bitcoin.

who lies once will lie a thousand times.

It has been confirmed that they are scammers. When you go to their website, you find that the domain has been changed to something else.
I hope no one lost their money.

To me, this looks like an automatic template from a registry or hosting company. They probably just didn't extend the hosting service.
But yes, it certainly does not inspire confidence.
We have several reliable mixers and we should not take any chances with these scammers.

They've changed hosting, but changed the DNS before having it set up on the other side.
The website is still up, the onion fails for some circuit so probably they just moved hosting.
They will be around for a while.

This means that all their reserves are within these limits, which is another lie because they said that their reserves are 50 bitcoins,

Not defending them but they did prove they had at least at one moment over 50 BTC under their control, both LoyceV and Icopress verified the messages at that time:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5448710.msg63178411#msg63178411

Of course this only means one thing and it doesn't prevent them from doing something bad but again, it would not be your cheap scam by some $50 beggar, funny thing, if they have held to their coins from there they would have earned  $1.4 millions just from the price increase.

In my opinion they just failed to gain traction, much like WW!
