I has observed that since the market pick up from the downtrend, now for about two weeks, Bitcoin has proven to be the controller of the crypto price movement, unfortunately there Ether and entire altcoins may not break out of this dominance as long as crypto exist. What are thoughts?

Bitcoin has been the main determinant factor controlling the crypto market price movement.
Therefore the possibility of Bitcoin control of market price to end is very low to me, maybe this can happen when Bitcoin go on extinction in the crypto market. That is my thought.

Yeah, I think bitcoin will dominant until the crypto will end because until now there's not potential coin which replace bitcoin domination.
-
This is one of the reasons that many crypto enthusiast will continue to hold, trade and invest on Bitcoin on a long term. I just think that this dominance is too obvious and is making the entire altcoins unvalued in the sense that they can not appreciate in value without Bitcoin price movements.

I do not agree with this opinion. Now altcoins are developing at a very fast pace. A certain part of them are quite promising and investments that were previously intended for bitcoin go into these altcoins. Bitcoin, on the other hand, is practically not being improved, its competitiveness is already very weak. Its popularity is largely based on people's belief that its price will continue to rise rapidly for a long time to come. If that doesn’t pan out, bitcoin’s price dominance will fall very quickly. Now bitcoin will still slowly lose the percentage of its dominance and in the future it will inevitably lose it.
-
With the inception of bitcoin, the government loses control over the currency system due to decentralization.
The Bitcoin ecosystem is still developing, making it possible if not likely that Bitcoin itself will continue to evolve over the coming decades. But however Bitcoin evolves, no new bitcoins will be released after the 21-million coin limit is reached.
-
Yes you are right. I think this is an important reason for this. The impact of the bitcoin market is on the entire crypto market. Due to which it will remain in the crypto market for a long time. This is a very influential and important coin.
-
Soon, Bitcoin will break the previous record and will reach to the new height of $100k or above as in 2021 BTC pumped to $60k and in 2022 the expected minimum target is $100k.
-
Though Bitcoin has not yet reached a new ATH, am expecting that we can say Bitcoin winter is not gaining ground and can now start to grow from thereon. There can be some good upward movements in the first quarter of this year. Now, am not so sure when altcoins will be making their moves but for Ethereum I think it is following the lead of Bitcoin so we can see the two making dramatic moves soon.
-
BTC is still the king of the crypto market and all investors refer to the price of BTC to determine the trend of the market. At this point BTC price has recovered 30% since 33K, but Altcoin price has not had such a big recovery, BTC.D is up and the money is focusing on BTC. I think this is also good because we only need to follow BTC to see the most important news of the market. Things will get more complicated in the future if BTC.D is too low.
-
for me its control 1000% bitcoin it will be huge coming soon I earn loot of money from crypto am still holding my all coins and bitcoin because I trust bitcoin.
-
It was not end soon. Being the first and the most popular crypto that almost the world known. BTC domination in the crypto market has been a thing that is affecting great projects in the crypto space. Somrthing I do thing that it not support to so, but we can help it.
-
I has observed that since the market pick up from the downtrend, now for about two weeks, Bitcoin has proven to be the controller of the crypto price movement, unfortunately there Ether and entire altcoins may not break out of this dominance as long as crypto exist. What are thoughts?
I think Bitcoin will exist for along years again, because there is no coin like bitcoin, Bitcoin is the biggest market cap and remaining be number one on CMC.
-
Bitcoin's price has always affected the price of most altcoin, I believe it has long been like that. It's not really anything new and I really doubt that will change anytime soon.
-

In my opinion bitcoin will always control the crypto market.
Because bitcoin is the King of crytpo currency.
Ether or other are just follower.
-
I think "never" is too long a term to know anything with certainty. Yes, Bitcoin is king now, but anything can happen in the not so near future. I think it's prudent to consider all options.

If you predict at the near future anything can happen, I don't agree.
Bitcoin is still strong and remaining their position on CMC.
Maybe for the next 7 years again, It will be.
-
What do you mean by "in control of market"?
In theory, Bitcoin price cannot be controlled although sometimes it can be manipulated by whales. Not sure how Bitcoin price to be controlled as you mean, but I think it is still about the demands on the market. Whenever there is a big demand, Bitcoin price to increase significantly. But whenever people hear bad news about Bitcoin or crypto, the demands become drop and the price will decline.
-
The real force in the cryptocurrency market is Bitcoin.
Bitcoin as a parent, Bitcoin as a disease or maybe Bitcoin as a role model. Also , you can check all history chart comparison for BTX x Altcoins .
I can speak like this because Bitcoin is something very unique and easy to understand to invest, only by storing it in a digital wallet or hardware wallet, our lives will change in just 10 years. LOL

If you talking bitcoin control market, I didn't agree with this.
Bitcoin just affect market as the king of crypto currency, when bitcoin pump almost all of crypto currency will pump.
But demand and supply which control market.
When demand high, the price will pump.

I think bitcoin price dominance will eventually end anyway. This dominance is steadily falling because altcoins are developing faster and their role is increasing. Capital as a whole flows into altcoins. If not so long ago the dominance of bitcoin was about 70 percent, then for a long time it has been at the level of 40 percent.
I also do not think that the loss of Bitcoin price dominance will negatively affect the cryptocurrency market. This should give more freedom to altcoins.
-

Bitcoin can always dominate the market, but I don't see a problem if that happens. Bitcoin is the first idea and the first execution of cryptocurrencies and the birth of the blockchain, It will always be the currency that receives the most attention from the market and in which the most people want to invest, dethroning it from its throne will not be easy, not even for the big altcoins that are now on the market nor for those that may appear in the future.
-
Of course, the price dominance of bitcoin in the cryptocurrency market will end someday and it will be absolutely logical. The functional indicators of bitcoin have long been practically standing still, while altcoins are developing and improving very quickly. Therefore, the price diminution of bitcoin has decreased to the level of 40 percent and this trend is likely to continue.

As a matter facts, whether Bitcoin dominance is going down or no, as far as the market movement is concerned, Bitcoin still determine the market prices of altcoins. You may check history of altcoins price to see if there has been any time certain altcoins ever moved for 24hour when BTC is going downtrend for the same 24hours.

if I think that the dominance of Bitcoin will continue, even though there are times when the dominance goes down but in the end it goes up again. I think if it is not Bitcoin that dominates this crypto market, then is there another coin that will be able to replace it?
-
Bitcoin can be trusted for all investors because Bitcoin has a very high level of interest and even Bitcoin really becomes something very unique if we have to look at the history of its creation.
I feel Bitcoin is the main cryptocurrency that will continue to control the crypto market because every step that has a positive effect then all altcoins also rises slowly and if there is negative news then Bitcoin and altcoisns immediately dump quickly.
-
All cryptocurrencies have always repeated all the movements of Bitcoin, if the price of Bitcoin began to fall, then the prices of other cryptocurrencies also began to fall, but there were times when altcoins separately from Bitcoin grew or fell in price, but basically Bitcoin set the course for altcoins and I think in the near future nothing will change, so for now it's not even worth thinking about it.
-
Bitcoin has an irreplaceable charm in the hearts of its fans and until now the interest in owning Bitcoin is so high that the market cap level is also very large and continues to be number 1 in the entire cryptocurrency market.
I feel that Bitcoin will continue to be the prima donna coin and continue to be the leader for the other coins that are included in Coinmarketcap and this will control all the rising and falling prices of altcoins.
-
All traders and investors trust Bitcoin more.
Not all traders and investors believe in altcoins.
We can't discuss for more again with Bitcoin because Bitcoin is the King of Cryptocurrency.
This statement is really enough for us to believe that Bitcoin can continue to dominate the market so that Bitcoin will continue to be a pioneer for all existing altcoins. Simple right ?
-
It is because of the dominance of Bitcoin over all cryptocurrencies. Altcoins will commonly follow the movement of Bitcoin. Once Bitcoin is crashed, altcoins will be also following to bebloodbath. Bitcoin is the most trusted and pioneer. That is why altcoins will depend on Bitcoin market

You're right ,Bitcoin has proven to be the controller of the crypto price movement.
Altcoin will follow bitcoin progress.
I see bitcoin has shown good performance lately, although at bearish season bitcoin is still strong.
Bitcoin will never end control the market, always remain be the king of crypto currency.

Yeah, the dominance of bitcoin over all crypto currency, bitcoin is still the King of crypto currency, that's way bitcoin will always control the crypto market.
Bitcoin is still superior and I think no coins that have potential be such as bitcoin.
Too far to compare with other crypto, bitcoin is the biggest of market cap.
-
Bitcoin is not only the most trusted, but it enjoys the widest acceptance - it has even become a legal tender in El Salvador (https://theforexreview.com/2021/06/09/el-salvador-recognizes-btc-as-legal-tender/) and other countries are mulling doing the same, which will likely eventually happen.

That's the fact, bitcoin will always controll the crypto currency market.
Because bitcoin is the king of crypto currency and It will always happen for along years again untill there is potential crypto which replace bitcoin at the coming future.
But It seems difficult to happen.
Bitcoin is still strong and dominate till now.
-

For quite a long time, the dominance of bitcoin is about 41 percent, although previously it was 60 percent and higher. Cryptocurrency is now developing more due to altcoins, which have various useful functions. Bitcoin will maintain leadership, including in terms of capitalization and dominance, as long as it continues to grow in price. It won't be very long, as many predict. Then he will lose his current dominance in this market.

Yeah, domination of bitcoin is decreasing and we all see altcoins are growing up.
It's good for crypto currency.
Bitcoin will be replaced by potential altcoin.
I think It's not impossible to happen, But I believe it will happen at the coming future.
There are several potential altcoins, So it will be.
-
Nothing new mate. The more we watch cryptocurrency market flow, the more we will understand and accept that everything is on Bitcoin movement.
We are not saying Bitcoin control(controller of) the market but we could say Bitcoin lead the market. It influence the entire cryptos whether we like it or not.
There are some tokens/coins that managed to pump during the decline moment of Btc. In other hand there are tokens that managed to dump and be killed during Btc increase. But once Bitcoin get the momentum either pump or dump, everything seems are following. The impact is huge that couldn't resist somehow.
-
According to me, the influence of bitcoin in the market has always been there and will continue to be so. Fluctuations in the value of bitcoin affect the entire cryptocurrency.
-
Of course, sooner or later, the dominance of Bitcoin over other cryptocurrencies will end. This will happen if only because many other altcoins have already surpassed it in terms of their functional indicators. Bitcoin is still holding on to a good previous price rise. Many believe that it will continue to grow in price for a very long time. Without this factor, its price would be at the level of the average value. Altcoins are now developing very quickly and their total capitalization is growing. This will continue to happen. The situation in terms of dominance will constantly change.

Yeah, I also believe the dominance of bitcoin will end , bit not for the next few years
Bitcoin is still strong and superior , will survive and exist for along years again. Until we will see the potential altcoin which replace bitcoin at the coming future.
-
I am not even sure it will happen over the next few years. Not without something major happening, I think.
-

Yeah, bitcoin will always control the market as long as bitcoin still become the King of crypto currency.
I think it will exist for along years again and maybe not end.
No coin as popular as bitcoin.
But maybe the next time.
-
exactly, the Bitcoin dominance in the crypto world is endless because this is the first crypto, the father of crypto that cannot be denied and passed by any other cryptocurrencies. It is not only because this is the first but also because the utility, fundamentals, value, and moreover trust of Bitcoin are higher than others. The tensions of Bitcoin is very high and none can beat this

Bitcoin, the largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, has soared more than 12% over the past seven days. The leading cryptocurrency has since retaken $22,000 at press time, a figure not seen since August.
-
Bitcoin has been a favorite for users {investors} since the beginning because of its limited supply. Santosh Nakamoto, the antagonist of bitcoin in crypto, limited the value of bitcoin to $21 million. Bitcoin is able to fund its value in the cryptocurrency market because the cryptocurrency is scarce, I think bitcoin will remain the user's [investor's] cho

BTC is still the king of the crypto market and we all monitor BTC price movements to know the state of the entire crypto market. BTC is dominated by BTC Halving and this is also good for analysts to trade in a more efficient way to generate the greatest profit.

As many people said, I think bitcoin is strongest than other. I believe bitcoin will exist for the next several years again.
maybe more five or seven years bitcoins still the King of crypto currency.
-

From the point of view of the market, five to seven years is a very short period of time. And then what can happen in the market in terms of price dominance? Of course, the dominance of bitcoin in this market is not eternal. Everything is changing and so is cryptocurrency. In any market, the strongest survive. Considering that we see a significant development of altcoins against the background of the fact that Bitcoin is practically standing still, it would be logical to assume that after some time Bitcoin will be moved from its position as a cryptocurrency leader and price dominance in the market.
-
I don't think that any project will be able to displace bitcoin to take the first place in terms of dominance over all cryptocurrencies. What will happen if the market remains without the main cryptocurrency, something will change.
-
I has observed that since the market pick up from the downtrend, now for about two weeks, Bitcoin has proven to be the controller of the crypto price movement, unfortunately there Ether and entire altcoins may not break out of this dominance as long as crypto exist. What are thoughts?
In my experience, Bitcoin almost 90% control the ups and downs of the market. I see that of BTC price will be dump then almost all altcoins price will be dump and vice versa. But all altcoins didn't depend on the price of BTC. Especially new project who will launch in market doesn't follow the price of BTC in my thoughts.
-
I agreed that bitcoin controls the crypto market, a dominance rate of almost 90% regularly should be a concerned; and to me, this has become a permanent situations. I think that some of the major altcoins should be promoted to the extent that btc control may be separated, and be traded just like the Stock, and foreign exchange market are been traded. Bitcoin makes makes many altcoins rally ineffective and some times shorten the progress of a rally. In fact, every altcoins rally depends largely on the btc movements.

I also agree that bitcoin's rigid price dominance is bad for the cryptocurrency market as a whole. Although now the percentage of such dominance is 38.2, but with a large fall in the market, this is enough. Other cryptocurrencies have a significantly lower percentage of dominance. The percentage of ethereum dominance is now 18.2, and other cryptocurrencies are much less. However, anyway, bitcoin used to have 70 percent price dominance and this indicates that in the future this level may continue to fall until it gives way to other cryptocurrencies.
-

The cryptocurrency market is developing very quickly. But 13 years is in any case very short to draw unambiguous conclusions that Bitcoin will constantly control and dominate the price of altcoins. Altcoins are improving much faster than bitcoin, so sooner or later bitcoin will have to give up its position as the leader of the cryptocurrency.
-
I am new to the form but as far as I knowBitcoin has been the main determinant factor controlling the crypto market price movement. Therefore the possibility of Bitcoin control of market price to end is very low to me, maybe this can happen when Bitcoin go on extinction in the crypto market. That is my thought.

while regarding the controlling fact, you are right as BTC is controlling the whole market and its BTC, if the Price of BTC dumped then you will witness the worst market condition as many of the legit coins are already dumped.

I think bitcoin still control the market, it will exist until there is potential altcoin that will be the next King of crypto currency.
Ethereum and BNB are the best candidate.
But I think It will need long years again.
