Hi Buddy, I am interested in discussing The Merge, after looking at several articles and looking for information on the website https://ethereum.org/en/upgrades/merge/ and I see the post below
The Merge
- Soon, the current Ethereum Mainnet will merge with the Beacon Chain proof-of-stake system.
- This will mark the end of proof-of-work for Ethereum, and the full transition to proof-of-stake.
- This sets the stage for future scaling upgrades including sharding.
- The Merge will reduce Ethereum's energy consumption by ~99.95%
As we saw above, the Merger will mark the end of ethereum POW, many miners will experience the impact of this situation, because they will no longer be able to mine ethereum, but will switch to mining other coins, what do you think, what if the Merger is successful will the crypto market turn green again or vice versa if the Merge fails, market will turn red ::)

The entire crypto community is watching the event. The Merge is the beginning of a new era for Ethereum, if it succeeds, we will enter a strong rally for the entire market. On the contrary, if we have some problem, the market will be severely damaged and the tokens will continue to be reduced by 30%-50% of the current price.

According to me, Ethereum is already quite complex and strong. if There seems to be a little lack in it, so it is just because of its high fee. And that we all know the major problem with Ethereum right now is the high transaction fees. The team has decided to merge. that's good. But Ethereum is already so developed. And As The Merge even on Ethereum is fast approaching a lot of people to become curious about what will happen therefore a lot of misconceptions are being created along the way. Everyone is creating their own different ideas. but i think , "The Merge will reduce gas fees." or "Transactions will be noticeably faster after The Merge." :) :)

Bitcoin is the first and the King of crypto, Ethereum is always following bitcoin as the second.
Current market is green again but be careful crypto market is unstable.

Yes, I'm waiting for that, some new information is coming from many influencers, when ethereum sharding is running it will change the existing scaling system, more complex than before.
What I'm worried about is when this Merge fails I agree with @MrSpasybo, I hope the ethereum merge works and can change things

Since it is good news, surely it will bring an impact on the whole crypto market. Moreover, Ethereum is the king of altcoins, people depend on this coin very much. So, it is not surprising if Ethereum has a big role in supporting the increase of altcoins values. I am also quite sure that if Bitcoin continues to increase, Ethereum will increase its price as well. Then, the whole crypto coins increase. ;)

I think the short pump is over because of the "buy the rumor sell the news" thing. Anyone knows that the merge will eventually happen, even prepared a countdown website. I mean it's not a surprise...
However, this merge is positive if it can make ETH tx cheaper and faster. The network is practically unusable previously, and now it's $0.03 !! We will see the effect in the next bull market IMO (NFA, DYOR).

Ethereum Classic (ETC) is down 12.6% and trades at $34.27. ETC is based on Ethereum’s original ledger, which includes an infamous $55 million DAO hack that was wiped from Ethereum by vote.

Ethereum's sinking fortunes following the merge belies some analysts' assertions immediately following the upgrade that the impact of the merge on the value of ETH had already been priced into the market.

Ethereum merge completed successfully but we don't see any positive effect in the market yet. The market is only getting red every day. Is this happening for Ethereum merge? I don't want to lose faith now. I think the market will turn green again very soon.

That's normal mate, because it's bearish season .
Ethereum merge didn't have good effect for crypto currency.
I think maybe we will see the effect of this merge at bullish season 2024, maybe 2025.
At bearish we will see every coins and tokens struggle

So far, the Ethereum Merge has been successful and has passed but in fact Ethereum is still in the $1300 price range.
This means that for now Ethereum doesn't care about Fud and News from Merge Ethereum, unless the price drops to $700.
I hope that after the success of this Merge we can see for ETH POS the price will continue to rise again because I also have a little Ethereum in costudy wallets like SafePal and TrustWallet.

The upgrade of the Ethereum network lasted two years, and its completion took place during the bearish period. Therefore, we did not see the expected price growth of this coin. True, there was good growth shortly before the completion of the merger. But since everything ended successfully, let's hope that the updated ethereum will still show itself. Therefore, we expect the end of the bearish period. Perhaps this autumn we will see an improvement in the situation in this market.

Ethereum Merge resulted in a coin processing system from POW to POS and this made Ethereum POS very eco-friendly.
I also believe that the POW coin type is still worth keeping because to my knowledge Ethereum is divided into 2. I don't know anymore.
Ethereum with POW type is still on Binance accounts and Ethereum with POS type is symbolized with ETHW , maybe this will be the best choice but I'm not sure about this POS type Ethereum.

Ethereum made changes like this because to maintain the stability of the Ethereum price and the possibility of increasing the price of Ethereum because currently no one can mine Ethereum because it all depends on the amount of Ethereum owned which will get a share of the predetermined percentage.
