monero-wallet-cli

monero-wallet-cli is the wallet software that ships with the Monero tree. It is a console program, and manages an account. While a bitcoin wallet manages both an account and the blockchain, Monero separates these: monerod handles the blockchain, and monero-wallet-cli handles the account.

yes ledger nano is a best hardware wallet for monero and other cryptocurrencies you can hold lot of cryptocurrencies in a wallets lot of people using exchange wallets to store cryptocurrencies that's not a good decision hardware wallets are always best to long term holdings.
