Bitcoin is the pioneer of digital currency. Altcoins were created to support the Bitcoin or to flourish the crypto world. If altcoins weren't created, how we came to know the importance of Bitcoin over the thousands of altcoins. If there is no general people in a kingdom, what the value of the king there?

Bitcoin is the King of all cryptocurrencies and has the first mover advantage. Altcoins came as alternatives to the solution offered by BTC. It's just like food, you'll have the favorite and the others.

Because in addition to bitcoin, we can invest in altcoins that are no less good and there are many types. lots of newcomers who even try altcoins to practice new trading end up buying bitcoin. this is why altcoins also exist in crypto.

Speaking of profit, altcoins are much more profitable for some investors than Bitcoin. Check bitcoin and altcoins yearly performance to date, you will find out altcoins performance were really great except for some DeFi projects.

With the Altcoin, it can give us the option to invest, so why does the Altcoin price depend on the Bitcoin price?  that's all because Bitcoin is the parent of Cryptocurrency which means Bitcoin is the mother of all existing Altcoins.

Wait for the altcoins bull run, there are the biggest gains. We saw several old coins, they  still survive, bUt we also several projects 're failed.
That's normal in crypto world, potential project will have big fans and gain popularity day by day.
So, be careful to choose the projects for your investment.

altcoins are alternative coins, You're right .  To complete the crypto function that bitcoin cannot fulfill.
There are many platform at altcoin.
I think if altcoin is very potential and have good project and team , I think altcoin will exist.
I always research before invest in altcoin, but better invest on old altcoin.

Altcoin function to complete the crypto , because bitcoin cannot fulfill. It's good answer.

There are many functions of altcoin now. such as gaming cpins, platform, metaverse etc
