Are crypto bounties still worth participating in?

Hey guys,have been meaning to ask this question for a long time now, are crypto bounties becoming worthless?, cus I don't know why they are so many scam bounties these days, I participated in clipx bounty on bitcointalk hosted by bounty detectives, and after the bounty campaign ended, clipx team asked every participant to do kyc,thankfully I was pretty busy that week and forgot to do the kyc and it passed the deadline date for the kyc, after 3days I visited bounty detectives telegram group and saw that after clipx project has been discontinued, wait why would they ask for kyc when they know fully well that they aren't gonna continue with the project? Sadly alot of bounty hunters did the kyc, and passed it, and the clipx team claimed that they have deleted all the kyc information, but I think that's a lie because they know how valuable it is on the dark web, there's no way they are going to throw away all those information, I think the campaign was owned by scammers and they just needed those kyc's, what do you think?

In recent times there have been a lot of scam bounty projects. And in my opinion there are indeed more and more bounty projects that are not good. It is increasingly difficult to choose potential projects. However, I myself am still trying to find my fortune by joining the bounty in this crypto.

Unfortunately, we are in an industry riddled by so many scams and frauds. This is one major reason why many people are turned off by cryptocurrency as they can see and feel the risks involved. There are so many creative scammers and hackers around and if they can fool and victimized big organizations like Binance and Kucoin then they can easily the same to anyone.

We are witnessing today the same trend in 2017 where scams really made their way into the pockets of the people who believed on them expecting something in return only to realize they are holding airy and empty bags at the end.

Sadly, there is nothing we can do but just be always careful. However, there are also good projects that can really shine in this "dark-themed" industry. Sometimes it is all a matter of luck, though.

I am not at all interested in the project ClipX I just followed the bounty social media and do not want to do the KYC for the project are already making rules quite heavy with having to use KYC passport would have to forget a bunch of fraudsters who want to utilize the data KYC to sell all of the bounty hunters should always careful to avoid being cheater because of the bounty prize is not too much.

It should always be assumed that the KYC requirement from bounty hunters is illegal. In most cases, ICO teams have used KYC either to allow fewer ICO bounty campaign participants to pay the tokens they have earned, or simply to steal credentials. Therefore, it should be regarded as a sign of project fraud if they only started talking about the possibility of carrying out KYC.
However, while there have been fraudulent ICO projects, there are and will be. In any case, as long as this type of activity remains unregulated. We all just need to beware of such ICO projects.

Until now, I still celebrate with bounties. And I also still like to work on bounties for additional income. Because in my opinion, this bounty can still generate income. Although it is necessary to be very careful in choosing a project.

I'm one of hose who sincerely promoted ClipX project thinking it is good and will succeed in the near future. Unfortunate happened, the team suddenly implement KYC procedure which some participants passed, me, I did not follow coz it is fishy to implement KYC at the end of campaign and only passport is the valid to submit.
Very risky to pass your personal information to unknown third party.

I'm also participated in that bounty ClipX and do that KYC with my alternative ID (not a passport) according to the Bounty Detective, the ClipX team is based in Germany and all of its details are verifiable, and also the company was registered legally in Germany and because of that, the team can be sued, and Bounty Detective pressured them with a legal action thats why the ClipX Team is immediately deleted those KYC data and notified those who do the KYC procedure, In crypto, some KYC is required to meet the legal requirements and even in airdrops some people are willing to do the KYC just to receive that airdrop, The DigitalBits Bounty is far more worst because the bounty was required the KYC and do it for two times with a thousand participants but in the end they never paid and all the Data was in their position.

I also participated on ClipX campaign but I have set a rule on what bounties I will select now, even if I completed a bounty even if it is really a good one I will not gonna do a KYC anymore. That's why I always search for ones that requires No Kyc. Fortunately there are good projects that doesnt requires submitting personal documents. This ClipX really decieved the bounty hunters and i do believed Bounty Detective too are not aware of the things that the said project did. Whatsoever many of us who's identities aee already compromised should be more carefull next time. Oh by the way, Bounty Detective team takes an initiative to do a bounty for those who participated on the failed bounty projects like ClipX, KingCasino, 1sTrade etc.

Bounty campaigns have become very tricky, some projects takes advantage of bounty hunters which is really unfair. Sometimes as a bounty hunter who have worked hard to promote a project, especially  those who do content/translation bounty. They can't just let go if KYC is requested after work is already done. Unfortunately, they fall into prey and until there is a way to protect bounty hunters this problem won't stop.

Best thing to do is protect your identity and don't just do kyc for useless bounties. Sometimes we win some and sometimes we lose some.

When ClipX has to do KYC at the end of the campaign & requires members to register, I immediately skip it. ClipX project suddenly changed the rules, made me suspicious. It was true that this project failed. Therefore always be careful

Of course, because bounty companies still generate income, but you shouldn't expect that if you will participate in one or two bounty companies, you will be able to get good income, there is no such income in the bounty sphere, therefore, you need to participate in many bounty companies in order to get at least some income and you should not rely on huge amounts of money, such time has passed long time ago.

though the decision is personal as to whether it pays or not, but to me is still manageable because most reward, are embracing whereby one will work for weeks and earn peanut, its a personal decision to each everyone

There are still good bounties worth participating, it's all about you doing your own research before joining any bounty. Don't join bounties because it's run by a good Bounty manager. They are humans and can miss something

Bounties are still Worth participating on despite so many shortcomings, like scammers activities, failed projects, poor bounty payment, and even non payment for bounty after successful completion. It is actually a sad situation but hunters must move. Bounties are still very ok for participations because there still are good bounties that bring huge profits. project like Ludena protocol, ARC where successful campaigns that paid hunters accordingly.
