The problem with most investors is indecision and of cause, as you mention the lack of knowledge. Even when they see the market is down, most will still be waiting for more dip because they lack the knowledge to know that the market has gone down enough with TAs to take an entry and also in bits. After all, just in case it goes down further you can again buy more.

Buffett himself is skeptical about cryptocurrencies and is not going to invest in them. However, no one bothers us to go our own way and buy those coins in which we believe. If we have chosen the right coin, then it does not matter at all when we buy it. It will still grow in the long term.

You made a valid point here, however newbies always fall for this trap of buying at the peak instead of dip, they always have the mindset that the price will continue to pump or rise but unfortunately the price dump or reverses hence incur streak of loses that is why it is advisable for every newbie to research and study the market learn and figure out the appropriate time in dip when to buy thus having a stance of earning reasonable profits after the price has pumped with bullish sentiment.
