I heard about that. In case of investment or buying coin, you must have enough funds to part it to different portion . Such as if you have today 1k USD, you must divided it to 4 part . You must keep one part for your recovery funds another three part , you need to use for investment on different coin . Because always remember that crypto is kinda like gambling . Yeah, IDO is more profitable but also more risky.
I personally have several coins from IDO and starting to research again for other IDO coins.
But I also invest in top coins such as BNB, TRX and SOL

Yeah I saw on the news thta Polygen raised  $2.3 million through an investment round from different investors such as SL2 Capital, 18 Ventures, Twin Apex Capital, AU21 and more.
