Is this the downfall of Ethereum?

I am indeed in the position of a trader at Binance, an IEO investor on Binance and as a bounty hunter on various cryptocurrency forums as well.
But sometimes I also follow Airdrops to get money with easy tasks with only 10 minutes to finish completing the task.
But I see when getting tokens from the Ethereum blockchain network is very sad at a very high fee and even for Umbrella's airdrop project requires a transaction GAS fee of around 1.3 Ethereum and that is very sad for Aidroper.

The high cost of gas is not the first time I have experienced it.  It is best to hold tokens that are going to be sold unless the gas costs are met doesn't hurt.  To be honest I haven't benefited from ETH 2.0 which is said to lower gas costs.

If the developers of garbage projects are not satisfied that the price of gas is much higher than the cost of their tokens, they can switch to the Tron platform and Ethereum will not suffer from this, but will only benefit, since more demanded and efficient projects will remain on the erc20 platform, and the load on the network will decrease.

The high commission for gas makes it useless to participate in bounty companies. I have tokens in my etherium wallet that I can't bring to the exchange and sell now. Don't think so. But it'll be a great chance for those projects which are aiming to overtake Ethereum in smart contract sectors. As ETH2.0 is on the way , it'll be a matter of time to reduce that. Also most projects are trying to implement layer2 solution so that users can use that project without any tension of high gas fee. Also, ethereum gas fees are high just because of the hype of DeFi space. TBH, it won't have any effect on ethereum in the long term.

I'm just like you man, eth gas fee is holding projects from paying their bounty hunters and even it's holding bounty hunters from being able to do any transaction cause most of them don't have much and eth network will be expecting them to pay more they can afford, if the ETH 2.0 is not released soon, alot of projects will definitely leave it for greener pastures, just try to avoid performing any TX on eth network for now.

you are right, there is no other choice but to take hold.
selling held altcoin with a small estimate would only result in a loss. given the high transaction cost.
as i said above you, at least sell when the estimated altcoin you are holding reaches $ 500
