Everyone has different skills and everything you say is like investing and trading alike carries a high risk.
But I prefer both and not focus on one goal.

I agree with what you said. Both trading and investing are great and both do not guarantee great profits if you do not do your home work on the projects to invest in and trade as well. It is highly important to have a good knowledge at least of the projects so that you will know if it is worth investing on for the long term or even if it is worth buying in for short term trading.

So while both of them are good option to making profits, knowledge of the projects is just as important.
