No Bitcoin, who will lead crypto then?

If there was no bitcoin, then now there was no cryptocurrency at all, this is the first creator of blockchain technology. If Bitcoin leaves, I think that Ether will come next to replace it.

Perhaps. That would largely depend on what caused Bitcoin to disappear.
That said, I think that even if there was no Bitcoin to begin with some other crypto would have been invented.

The simple thing is that, If Bitcoin Dies, I believe that the entire cryptocurrency market will Die. Have you noticed what happens in the market when there is a sudden Bitcoin price dip? just about every crypto falls in price too and if there happens to be any form of news that suggests that Bitcoin is dead, I truly believe that the entire market will Bleed.

Why should the cryptocurrency market die if something happens to Bitcoin and it suddenly disappears? The fact that bitcoin has a price dominance over other cryptocurrencies does not mean that it is irreplaceable in this market. If Bitcoin disappears, it is likely that there will no longer be one dominant cryptocurrency in terms of price. Most likely, there will be several of them, and this may even better affect the price movements of the cryptocurrency.

If bitcoin will be dead, I think Ethereum will replace the bitcoin position.
Maybe we all see there are many potential altcoins, but at the second rank, Ethereum always remain at the number second there.

It will depend in what the first crypto created. Or probably if there is no Bitcoin, there will be no cryptocurrency.
Or if this is forced to be, I think ETH will be the leader as what happen so far.

Very interesting question, if Bitcoin didn't exist, I think Ethereum or EOS would lead the community. Both of these platforms are decentralized and have enough governance fundamentals. I especially love EOS's Eden.

I think Ethereum is the best candidate to replace bitcoin, If bitcoin  doesn't exist again.
I personally still hold  Ethereum and wait the market will grow again.

In my opinion bitcoin will survive until long years again.
But If you ask, who will lead if no bitcoin,
I think Ethereum, BNB, SOL, DOT, ADA, those are good candidates.

It's a very simple question, who would lead a crypto if no bitcoin?  I think most people will say in one sentence Ethereum will lead the crypto world. Because no coin has been able to move ETH from its position yet and ETH is called king of altcoins.

of course not because the benchmark of all cryptocurrency prices is bitcoin, when bitcoin rises to be very expensive then the price of altcoins will definitely follow the price movement and when the price of bitcoin collapses instantly altcoins will also collapse.

Yes, in terms of capitalization, ethereum follows bitcoin, and if bitcoin disappears for some incredible reason, ethereum should become the leader of the cryptocurrency. There is no doubt about that. At this stage, the cryptocurrency market has become more mature and altcoins can already exist on their own.

Then let us believe also for the sake of discussion that the entire cryptocurrency market will die as well. Cryptocurrency came to being because Bitcoin was invented and if  Bitcoin wasn't invented we probably wouldn't know any other crypto and even though we are hearing that there are other cryptocurrencies that think they are a threat to Bitcoin, I don't see that for now.

If Bitcoin leaves this market for any reason, the leadership will be decided automatically. It is not necessary that only one cryptocurrency will continue to lead in the future. This will depend on the level of capitalization of contenders for leadership. It is possible that in the future several cryptocurrencies will lead at once. Then this market will not be so dependent on the leader. It might even be very interesting. In my opinion, this will open up new opportunities for each individual cryptocurrency and the market as a whole.

What I think is that Altcoins will not have the trust they currently have when Bitcoin is not the leader of crypto coins, when the price of BTC goes down, the price of altcoins will go down as it is today, it happens because the MCap of Bitcoin is bigger and when BTC is no longer leading, then other altcoins will collapse like this time.

If you mean the hega impact, maybe this would also apply if ETH was the first crypto coin to appear (if there was no bitcoin). Because as we know bitcoin is a big influence on the price effect because it was the first coin to appear and then followed by several other coins.
