Because crypto is only considered as a digital investment, I don't think banks to try adopting it for a payment tool. The rules in my country is very clear, only our national currency can be used as a payment tool. So, I doubt if banks want to get into cryptos as well.

maybe It wil take several years again, your country will accept and legalize crypto if crypto currency has been allowed by many countries at the world. Banks will adopt when crypto being legalized.

I agree with this I think CBDC will replace traditional bank, CBDC is enough completely  to solve fast and cheap transaction.
I also see many investors and senior said about it.

It seems that in the next 5 years we will see the majority of the banks will also involve in cryptocurrencies. Some banks are saying cryptos are riskier for the financial ecosystem but they can not stop the adoption of the cryptos so they will also adopt it sooner or later.

In the Philippines, there’s already one government-regulated bank who has its own crypto ATM, the first ever in the history of the country.

Although that other banks are still anti-crypto, but slowly there are some who have embraced and adopted cryptocurrency in open arms.
