In the business terrain, there is always strong competition which is more of survival of the fittest and only the strong hearted takes it all. That is what I would liken this scenario to be.
At first, organisations are always looking for ways to outshine their rivals so they could be at the forefront of the market irrespective of what it would cost them. So therefore, hiring someone to write against an organisation is part of the game and in some cases, it is a war of words with their rivals which we all have seen in the social media in most cases.

Mind you, organisations always want point at hand to always show for themselves what they got to the customer base they envisage thereby demarketing their competitors in the same race.

It's hard to bring down a good project even if you get paid to give negative feedback it will eventually be proven that you're just lying and you are paid to ruin the other platform because you have to prove it, and if you cannot prove it if it will backfire in your reputation, its easy if the platform has a lot fo flaws but if there's none and you are caught lying you'll get tagged for unfair practice/

i found an upwork job that describes giving a negative feedback to a company and i think this employer is a competitor of the company. i return back to upwork to take a look at it again. i'm thinking of taking a screenshot but its now gone. someone must have reported it.

i was amaze they were thinking they are also going to benefit if we say something bad to a L1 project and show the positive side of the other unpopular L1 project. hard to tell they know something that crypto investors don't. but getting to that point seem common in casinos but not on token projects.

In the business terrain, everything goes through both negative and positive words, and all that is to outshine the other.

If I am been paid to run a negative remark about a project, I will first of all, research the given project to check if I can find any lapses in the project I have to give a negative remark on. If I can't find any lapses about them, I will turn down the money offered to me to do that.

It is better to write about something someone can defend when asked about it in the future. In case you were called on to prove what you said whether it is true or not.

We all know what's the right thing to do here.
There are always many other ways anyone can earn money, no need to sell your morality for a few bucks. Being a spine-less drone who would do anything for the money has never worked well for anyone in the long run.
Not only I would turn down the offer, I would seriously consider exposing such business to the public. If they have no problem resorting to such scammy tactics, they shouldn't be trusted with anyone's deposits.

Well, I am a man of principles, I will not do such as writing a bad or negative review another casino even if I am paid to do so, I believe in coexistence of all humans, and the same way humans co-exist together, same way should businesses and companies into the same thing co-exist as well.

And besides, running a company or a business is particularly more fun and interesting when one has competitors, it drives all the companies or businesses to strive hard to be the best among the others, and also encourage them to serve their customers better so they don't lose the customer to their competitors.
This is the kind of business environment I will support, I won't support one were a business or company is head bent on taking their competitor out by any means, if ever I am hired for such a job as you said, I will ultimately reject it.
