How to buy Bitcoin in countries that do not have payment services

I want to know what methods you follow to buy Bitcoin if you live in a country that does not have online payment services.

I live in a country where we don't have any online payment services because they are blocked by payment services, so the only way available here is via P2p.

Bitcoin cannot be purchased directly, so we use other methods, for example by purchasing a stablecoins such as USDT Tron, BUSD.

The purchase is through a broker, who receives a commission of 1-2%, then transfer USDT Tron, BUSD to any central exchange, and then buy Bitcoin at the market price.

The problem is when transfer Bitcoin from the DEX to the wallet, they take a high fees, in addition to of course the broker’s fee. But this is the only solution available here.

Is there another solution based on your experiences?

For me, I rely heavily on the Bitcoin that I earn through my participation in signature campaigns here and in the other forum to obtain Bitcoin in the wallet. Of course, this is the best and easiest method, but it is not available to everyone who is not a member of the two forums.

Out of curiosity, why did you stop buying Bitcoin? Or are you saying that you stop trading your Bitcoin for your monthly needs and decide to save it for the future? If investment is your goal, maybe it is a good idea to watch the market at the moment since we're likely in a bull run, especially after the halving. Selling some of your Bitcoin is not a bad idea as long as you know how to enter the market again. I made the mistake of not selling anything in the last 2 bull runs so my wealth doesn't change that much. It is tricky, but I believe it is worth a shot if you're fine with the risk even with P2P trades. But I'm not sure how exactly P2P works in your area so I can't comment on that. I believe Bisq should work even if there is no payment provider that allows you to buy crypto directly. Remember to DWYOR and DYOR though. CMIIW.

I am actually confused that if internet based banking system is closed in your country then how the payment is made out for online services. Also, since you didn't mention your country, I couldn't even guess which country and how Bitcoin could be traded there. If your country has a ban on online fiat currency banking then I don't see any option to use bitcoin or crypto currency in any way.

We do p2p face to face and not in DEXs. There is a Telegram channel for financial brokerage where you send a money transfer to the broker and then he sends USDT to your address in DEXs and after that you buy Bitcoin or another currency if you like.

Hmm the method you have shared, I won't call it face-to-face, as you are not meeting with the seller or buyer, you are just using another means in this case telegram is the mean of making p2p trade, while where payment services are allowed like let's say in Pakistan, if we have payment service, that means we can send money from one person to another using Binance If I want to buy BTC or USDT, I would go to Binance, P2P and then find some seller, open the deal, and then will use payment service to send him money and he will send assets to my exchange wallet.

In this trade, the exchange works as a middleman and ensures fraud-free trade, so why don't you actually use Exchange, for such a purpose if you are able to transfer funds to the broker, BTW you didn't not mentioned the way of transferring it, I hope it would be offline otherwise you are not making sense or I am getting confused!

Yes, this is an obstacle for people who want to get involved in the crypto world. Because after all, online payments will really help us in trading in crypto, especially for exchanges. Isn't it not even better with the use of the p2p network in buying bitcoin than using the payment service, considering that such has even been blocked, the part of the reasons why bitcoin remains the most significant digital currency that the people want is because of its decentralization, so i see the process of using any of the payment services as a means of exposing yourself to the public that am intobitcoin and have invested, because your privacy is not safe.

There are some countries where crypto currency is illegal and people of those countries simply cannot use different exchanges even if they want to because all those exchange IPs are banned from those countries. But those who are investors and those who have such restrictions in the country do not stop at this step of the government but they are looking for alternative ways how they can use all these exchanges in some other way. There are some premium VPNs that are very private and generally use all these exchanges. All exchanges have been banned in India but still people in India have not given up on using crypto currency, if there is a will there is a way.

I think P2P transaction is most safest for OP behind countries not have payment service, you can directly make transaction with your community or the same country come from and sent to seller trough bank account. You need looking with exchange have support P2P transaction and buy stable coins there, there are not any fees transaction yet but looking the P2P seller have good rate for selling their stable coins.
After purchasing stable coins trough P2P transaction you can but Bitcoin or other altcoin, its easy although not have payment service for purchasing bitcoin.

P2P is probably the only way to go, or at least the most common way to go in those nations. In my country we had bank connections with local exchanges for many years, we just wire transfer money into the accounts of the exchanges, including Binance as well, Binance works with Turkiye, so that means we just wire money to our account in Binance, and then we do whatever we want with it. However, I remember back in days when paypal was illegal (still illegal) and exchanges didn't work that way, so we had to do p2p and I had plenty of p2p trades during that period. Its not ideal though, its quite bad.

Well, what you already said, I would say is the only solution for anyone who lives in a place where they can not make online payments, for example, here in Nigeria when crypto currency was still very new, we used to be able to buy crypto directly from exchanges with our bank debit cards and so on, but after a while, international payments with our local atm cards was blocked by the central bank, and crypto trading was banned also, so we all shifted to p2p means of buying and selling our cash for crypto or crypto for cash.

Today and right now, the ban on crypto have not been lifted yet, but online payments have become very rampant and now, we can comfortably buy and sell crypto and make payments through online means without the government knowing exactly which is crypto payment and which is not.

In the nutshell though, if card payment works in your country for international transactions, then it's possible to buy crypto and pay directly with your bank card (if crypto is not banned in your country though), but in a situation where bank card isn't working, then the only effective solution remains p2p.

Well, this does make a bit more sense although I don't know how you can get USDT there and not Bitcoin.

But anyhow, a bit of the stuff was cleared up, probably if you would have said from the start something like:

Yup, sucks and I don't see any other viable method that you can use unless you can temporarily get out of the country, but I have a feeling that is 100x times harder and too expensive given the situation.
