Best Cryptocurrency Adoption Point?
« on: October 14, 2018, 09:06:41 AM »
Hey Team,

I am personally under the impression that the food service industry is one of the most likely adoption points for cryptocurrency. I am specifically keen on seeing cryptocurrency used for coffee because I think the speed, loyalty of consumer, and magnitude of transactions done in, for example, a Starbucks is perfect for the use of cryptocurrency. What do you think?

Best,

I'm not really sure, I think from a currency standpoint a lot of people would like to see this but its hard to say at this point what would be able to transact fast enough for that and be cheap enough with enough widescale adoption.. I know bitcoin can actually do it, especially with lightning network implementation but I think we're still 2-3 years out from taht actually being used as a commercially accepted payment at a place like Starbucks.
