A term I come accross quite often, and usually describe cryptocurrencies of failed projects, scams or simply with no future.

These are the worst kind of investment because, they are not going to go anywhere, no moon no KFC.
However, a lot of pump groups manipulate the price of the shitcoins, just to dump them after people start buying in.

Yap, you are on track. Shitcoin or rather pump and dump coins are quit unfortunate situation but it's been part of genuine ICOs this days and you have to be very alert on this project.
A pump and dump scheme is a form of securities fraud that has been around for decades and originally focused on the equity markets. Main while, this type of securities fraud has also made it into the cryptocurrency markets. While the modus operandi has changed, pump and dump schemes are alive and kicking in the altcoin market due to its unregulated nature. These schemes target low capitalization cryptocurrencies and digital tokens that can easily be manipulated with low trading volumes.  We need to alert on this criminal activities rampaging everywher.

Yes,  I think Shitcoins are in every where. We must be carreful to choose coin. It is my opinion.

I'm against trash coins, too, but I bought one of these.It's Bitconnect. At that time nobody knew it was a Scam, but it grew.And who on time sold-was able to earn.I do not advise anyone to deal with such coins.Many then just lucky !

Shitcoin is a coin that copies all other coin codes and presents them as they have. There are also teams and road maps, currently 90% of cryptocurrency is made to make $$$ not real use or technology.

That is you have to invest in coins from trusted sources. Do not invest in any random coins you see.

Besides investng in some of these trusted coins/token, It is very good to also invest on already existing coins/tokens on various exchanges if in doubt of some these projects that has ended up been abandoned or dump coin /token.

Actually, a lot of professionals of crypto call all coins besides Bitcion as shitcoins.

I think there are indeed a lot of groups like that who only want a momentary profit, and that can be very detrimental to those who are small traders, and such coins need to be avoided and alert.
