I think It is really difficult stellar will overtake ethereum. Ethereum is still popular and potential, because ethereum is smart contract platform. we can see the progress of ethereum today, It goes back to the second position on CMC.

Right, Standing at 14th rank, it is very logn path for the XLM to beat Ethereum which is now 2nd rank coin. To beat ETH, XLM needs to pump 1300% from the present rate which is too hard to beat within few years. But not impossible if XLM can show their necessity of DEX to the investors.

Have you really checked the crypto market recently seen that etherum is doing quitely well in terms of price value so I think that it depend on some situation if etherum fails to grow that's the only way stellar may try to overtake etherum  in the market because there are a lot of competion in the crypto market.

In cryptocurrency world everything can happen. In the near future Trx or Xlm or Xrp will beat ethereum. There is no doubt about that. Because of eth late tx plus fees etc.

Ripple already overtaken Ethereum before but it did no last for a long period. So, I guess it is also possible for Stellar to overtake ETH and yet won't last for long. Ethereum can bounce back instantly from falls.

In my opinion, Xlm for the current year cannot overtake etherum, because this year etherum is still in high demand and it is very difficult to overtake etherum so that both are strong crypto but etherum is stronger than xlm
