Bahrain’s central bank has announced it issued draft
regulations for the licensing and supervision of crypto asset
services.
The central bank has stated that among the proposed
regulations, measures to safeguard customer interests,
technology standards, and cybersecurity risk management
are included.
As per Cointelegraph, Bahrain’s Institute of Banking and
Finance launched its own ‘Blockchain Academy’, which will
provide courses in three competency areas of blockchain
technology: development, implementation, and strategy.
Moreover, Cointelegraph reported that the Netherlands'
central bank also proposed licensing cryptocurrency service
providers.
