I believe it's a spelling mistake but it's a nice one though. Nothing lasts forever, especially in a world full of uncertainties and volatilities like cryptocurrencies. To me, Litecoin was dead when Charlie Lee abandoned it. It's now living on community's interest. Like many other old coins, Litcoin will lose its value to newer, fancier and more active coins.

I think It is good question, I don't believe litecoin will last forever, It depends the team behind the project. If the team always improve their technology and continue, litecoin will last forever..
