Title: Steemit voting stake system
Post by: sugarchrisp on June 12, 2018, 07:00:44 AM
I'm not sure what to call it or how it's phrased in steemit but, I read about there being a way to basically give your vote to someone else and vote the same as they do.  Does anyone know about this process or what it's called?  I can't seem to find information on it and I just don't know what to look for.

It is called delegating your steempower.. a lot of people use large accounts like minnowfund to deligate it to.  It can be quite profitable if you want less involvement especially if you have quite  a big stack (500 steempower or more).

I was hoping that there was a way to delegate my votes to an active user so I could grow my steempower without a huge amount of involvement.  This looks more complicated than I was looking for.

I delegated my steempower weeks ago and I'm still earning every day.  It's basically free money for zero participation.. but its gonna be very little, so to make it something like 5-10$ per day youre gonna need probably several hundred invested

Maybe you can set up a tutorial here on how to do it?  ^___^  I really like steemit as a platform so I want to grow it passively for now.

I know there are accounts which gives you upvotes if you delegate some steem.

The only service I had tried was from @blocktrades . They open a few steem power delegation in exchange for a few SBD's or steem. I bought 100$ SBD and they let me use almost 1k steem power for 3 months this allowed me to give 100% upvote value of 30-40cents. It's still small though.
