Most investors are driven by the actions of Bitcoin on the market irrespective of the coin they invest in. Once Bitcoin is down, most of the naïve investors begin to pull out. Also, Bitcoin serves as a price pair against many coins, hence, any dip in Bitcoin price affect the coin it is paired with on the market.

Theoretically if bitcoin gone then altcoins will gone also. Nevertheless if there will have another chance to reclaim what was lost then the full adjustment will happen in order to let altcoins survive without bitcoin. That will be the time altcoins value are not dependent to bitcoin.

It is really hard to imagine right now cryptocurrencies without Bitcoin. But in the near future maybe in 2-3, we will see that altcoin will move independently from BTC.

When the bitcoin is gone there's a lot affect to the crypto because most of investor are usually invest to bitcoin as i see. Maybe there's lot of coins that could exchange to bitcoin's but the problem is, if they can survive even if the mother of all crypto coin is gone.

Probably huge investors will back off in crypto if there wasn't bitcoin anymore.
Suppose we could see bitcoin as the remaining coin in crypto if there will have casting.
Crypto can stand by its own feet in case bitcoin aren't in the house.
Although more adjustment to do but in little longer crypto altcoins can do it.
Just my imagination.

I just don't see a scenario where this market can function witout bitcoin.. I think it will always be the leader, even 10 years from now. Maybe I'm wrong but I still think bitcoin's best use case is a liaison between cash and altcoins.

Ethereum is special... i think he can survive without bitcoin.
But right now, imagine crypto without bitcoin is unthinkable :o

It is really hard to imagine right now cryptocurrencies without Bitcoin. But in the near future maybe in 2-3, we will see that altcoin will move independently from BTC.

It is undeniable that Bitcoin price movements will affect all Altcoin prices, I don't understand why this can all happen because from the previous year Bitcoin has become the guideline for every altcoin.

I think it impossible because currently bitcoin has spread in various countries and many investors who come from different countries and different geographic locations have also tried to start bitcoin investment. If bitcoin in the future will disappear, maybe new cryptocurrencies will appear.

It is really difficult to imagine a future for crypto without the lead of BTC, because if BTC is not accepted, many other cryptocurrencies will not be allowed to exist. If so, the crypto world will only have CBDCs or stable coins, which helps to reduce transaction costs, helps us apply smart contracts to different ecosystems, but the economy will still be in hands of governments...

I think crypto space will be too risky if there is no Bitcoin. I doubt crypto space to be famous and well known like today if there is no Bitcoin. Bitcoin has big impacts. So, it should stay there, in crypto space. I cannot imagine if Bitcoin disappears, I am pretty sure crypto world will be hard to survive.

BTC is the cornerstone of cryptocurrencies.Without it the crypto world be uninteresting. We can be grateful to Satoshi that we won’t ever have to live in a World Without Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is, of course, the backbone of cryptocurrencies and therefore Bitcoin will not go anywhere and I am sure that it is easiest for big players to raise the price of Bitcoin for great profit and I don't think that these big players will switch to other cryptocurrencies soon.

clear, and I totally agree that bitcoin has a huge impact on all coins on the market today, because bitcoin is the main source and a benchmark for price development and the influence of all coins in circulation. besides that, we also have to acknowledge the role of ethereum as a reference for all new altcoins that are growing and will enter the market.
maybe the role of bitcoin I think no one can or want to try to be able to replace either by new coins maybe even those that already exist in the market today.

Bitcoin as the king of crypto, I think will be very influential on other coins. Where if bitcoin goes down or dies, the same thing will happen to other coins. Because many investors are attracted to and invest in crypto because of bitcoin. When bitcoin goes down or dies, many investors will leave this crypto. So that the altcoins will also die.

Maybe It will happen at the coming future, the future of crypto currency without bitcoin. But It is really difficult, because bitcoin is still the King and maintain its position on number one. I predict at the coming future , we will see many potential coin to compete with bitcoin.

Altacoins are the most powerful coins now a days. Once a time we think that BTC is the king and nobody will take the place but already the place is taken by altcoin. Now YFI take the place. In future it altcoins may lead the crypto currency.

I think Bitcoin will be always there, why we need to talk about "the future crypto with no Bitcoin"? Bitcoin is always growing, its adoption seems good. We don't need to worry about the future of Bitcoin. I think the crypto space isn't interested anymore without Bitcoin. And I guess with no Bitcoin, all crypto will drop very bad as it is very bad news if Bitcoin disappears.

There is nothing to do without Bitcoin because it is the most valuable coin. If there is no BTC from the beginning, it will influence nothing. But BTC is here and if it is disappeared, so I think that it means that the crypto world also disappeared.

To be honest I couldn't imagine cryptocurrency without Bitcoin. It is the main character in crypto that makes cryptocurrency stronger and more opportunities such as new tokens is possible to swap to Btc. Also it is the top 1 in crypto place that seems unshakable despite of often serious circumstances against Bitcoin supremacy. Bitcoin still undisputed.

I think the cryptocurrency market will change dramatically. Because with this dramatic change, Bitcoin will change. Which no one would want to believe. Every country has Bitcoin users. Bitcoin is the main Cryptocurrency icon. If Bitcoin does not exist or dies I am sure the public will doubt other Cryptocurrencies. And this can cause cryptocurrency to no longer be trusted by the public and will die. Bitcoin is very important for the development and advancement of this Cryptocurrency.

True, any dip in Bitcoin's price causes problems. For example, its sudden drop earlier this week wiped out 170 billion US dollars from the market, (https://theforexreview.com/2021/01/11/170-billion-lost-in-crypto-market-crash/) it was a massive loss. Still, Bitcoin is recovering, and so is everything else.

Neither in theory nor in practice, with the disappearance of bitcoin, altcoins will not disappear anywhere. The market will be realigned over time and will be more decentralized. As this market develops, the likelihood of price dominance of other cryptocurrencies in this case will decrease. It seems to me that the cryptocurrency market will then be more mature.

Yes, It is true, Bitcoin is the King of crypto currency, I think It is impossible. But everything can be happen at the coming future. We all know other cryptos are just follower, So I still believe bitcoin will exist for along years again.

After the years that have passed since its birth and with existing currencies, I don't think anything would happen if Bitcoin disappeared. It is as if Google disappeared right now, the network would continue to function without its services, its search engine would no longer index more information, but everything would work, with Bitcoin the same would happen.

I think by now we are all pretty reliant on many of Google's services, so losing them suddenly will be pretty painful for a while, until we adapt. That said, people are not nearly as reliant on Bitcoin as they are on Google, so I don't think the two can be compared.

Since the creation of Bitcoin it draws attention to many investors throughout the world and becomes the most valuable digital asset as of today. Without Bitcoin I think Ethereum will be the owner of the throne Bitcoin has been sitting through years. But I am not sure about the flow or the performance on the market if ever Bitcoin never existed.

Still general people who don't know about crypto, they have heard the name of Bitcoin in paper, social media, YouTube etc.
