For Earning Karma you have to make to the point and good post and if your post get maximum reply and other stuff you may gain karma but its not easy so keep replying ..

I was trying to work out how the system works, so this thread has helped somewhat. Seems that karma relies on more senior members putting value on your posts, which I guess makes sense. Does this mean that once you reach a certain rank, you can then give karma to newer members? I tend to dip in and out of the forum and do not always have time to write new posts. Still doesn't seem to be a great amount of 'action' on the majority of threads, but I guess this will improve over time as the number of members increase. As long as spammers are kept in check, has the potential to be a very useful forum.

Yes once you reach Sr Member (I think it is) then you can give karma, once every 10 hours. This happily avoids it being used as a "Like" button which helps.
As you said the idea is to combat spam and to reward users for useful content, which appears to be working in my opinion to a degree.
Remember we are still a very young forum, but in many ways more inviting as it's not too overwhelming in size/activity at the moment.

Still searching for karma, I always thought it was what goes around comes around, but I guess here only a certain level of members decide what is worth coming around, whether it has already gone around or not. Reminds me of Animal Farm by George Orwell, 'All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others'. Good book, haven't read it since I was at school, but amazing how the lessons still stick.

Kaemail are rewarded by people with higher ranks and it is based on assessment of your posts. That is good post, per assessment by a snr member, may cause him/her to grant you some karma. For you to rank to jnr member, you need to make at least 20 posts

Does the new topic create new members what should be full members ,,
If a beginner can maybe I will create a new topic, about some questions that might help some other friends, thank the cashier ..

The Karma is just like the Merit system of the bitcoin forum. If you have a helpful and high quality post, then the higher member ranks will give you some karma’s right? Im just glad to be here in this forum.

Yes, but the difference is that here on altcoinstalks you do not need KARMA for ranking up.

Build a impormative and trustworthy and legit posts, so that when the moderator ready your post. He or she will give you a KARMA. Not necessary that you post a very high senstence. Just write the point of the question and any suggestion that you can pot. Or any links that we can read to. In short write something that usefull to other member. By then you will KARMA.

You can earn karma points by posting or make a helpful thread and a quality post  high ranks will give you a karma if they see it helpful in the forum and in the members, by posting 20post you will be a jr.member but remember dont spam.

for karma points.

there are two kind of karma the positive and negative karma.
We will get positive karma when we do a helpful post or topic in this forum. we get negative karma when we don't follow the rules of altcoin forum.

You can get karma points if the other member have a favorite or an interesting post that will give you karma points. And in the profile pic you will first go to the profile then click on the modify profile then Forum profile last find the Personalized Picture and click Upload an avatar done uploading you want to your profile.

There is two types of KARMA the positive karma and the negative karma. You can get a positive karma by helping everyone with your informative and useful comments or topics but If you comment or make a useless, nonsense or off topics the higher ranks will punish you by giving you a negative karma. As far as I know you can't upload photos/videos here, but you can upload your photos to something like imgbb or imgur, then link the photo

Likewise with videos, upload then to youtube/dtube or somewhere, then simply put the link in the post and it will automatically appear. Like magic.

just follow this bro you can get karma here but dont abuse you can get negative karma

Are KARMA needed to update the rank? And what to do with KARMA? Of course with positive one. Don't wish to get negative karma :)

You mean to improve from senior to hero member? NO. You don't need karma to rank up in the forum. A recent update allows you to cash out your Karma points for ALTS.

You can earn karma points, you can do posts that help other people whenever they have questions. In return, it hopes these people with sr ranks and above will be appreciative of you and thus give you karma for helping out.

Thank you for the information in this thread. This is the first forum on which I registered, where such points are earned. I am a beginner, but I hope that I will help someone and get more of them. If I get a negative point, can I then work it out? I do not know if I understood everything well. :-[

For you to get karma all you need to do is to ensure that you always make useful post and also make important comments on post then you will be rewarded with a positive karma, then for you to add profile pics go to your profile then you will see something like modify profile, click on the modify profile then there will be a drop down list, from that list you tap on forum profile then a page will open with different options click on upload avatar then a option will appear, on that option click on choose file then you will be lead to you photo gallery where you can now choose the picture you want to use for your profile pics and finally for you to become a jr member you need at least 20 useful post, thank you very much.
