Title: The Market is Bleeding but Don't Panic Sell at loss HOLD
Post by: Tamaragold on January 16, 2018, 12:30:02 PM
*Hold on to your coins,*

Sell no One at a Loss,
Nothing is a loss until u sell.

Build up ur portfolio gradually and don't be in competition with anyone.

Take time to understand the markets and how to profit off it.

Every gainer today had and still has losses.

*Losses is the price we pay to make free money*

Accept the losses. When u lose, learn not to lose again.

Anything that effects Japan or an exchange there is going to hit the markets hard. This is just another exchange shutting down cycle.

However, there is also news that Robinhood will add free crypto trading. I don't think people understand how major that is because most of Robinhood's users are in their 20s. That is like TD Ameritrade announcing they will do free crypto trades. It's a $1 billion+ US fiat exchange with free trades.

The market is pretty rangebound right now. Expect this to continue for at least a month.

Everyone is profit taking, people are freaked out by potential regulations and expecting the worse. I think a month or two things will quiet down and prices will start rebounding.

Well, there had to be some sort of regulations - the question is how the community will answer. I believe that it is way too big and now everyone will have to consider it.

The market is too low. All in red but I still hold my coins and tokens because I am expecting for green the next month.

Well said. One of the main downfall of every trader is being emotional.

Fairly standard advice, but there will be situations when selling at a loss is the sensible move. It all depends on how you rate your portfolio. If I hold 100 coins and they drop by 50%, the logic would seem to be hold until it recovers. But if I see another opportunity which I think will move upwards quicker, then the best move would be to take the loss and buy into the other coin. That's my understanding anyway.

If you are buying the bottom, just buy small.. so you can cover the bottom if it continues.. or wait to buy the reversal... I gambled a bit at 6k even if I think 5k or even 3k are possible.
