BX3 Capital, a blockchain fundraising and advisory firm has brought on board two new members to its personnel: tax expert Mike Minihan and business attorney Jay Arcata. Arcata has taken the role of VP Client Operations for the firm.

Strengthening Blockchain With Professional Expertise
Mike Minihan has garnered over 20 years of experience as an international tax attorney and entrepreneur, having worked with almost every facet of international taxation before partnering with BX3. Minihan has held positions in private industry, the Internal Revenue Service and in the Big Four public accounting and tax consultancies KPMG and PwC.

Minihan is no stranger to business advising, as he was a founding partner of WTP Advisors, a boutique international tax consulting firm that specialized in compliance issues and tax structuring assistance. Minihan has also founded a host of other startups in the tax-focused space. After he sold WTP, he proceeded to his position with the International Income Tax practice of Ryan, LLC, where he worked until his retirement.

Although Minihan had retired, he was allured by the technological breakthrough of blockchain, which had ultimately pulled him back into the workforce with BX3 Capital.

The tax expert said:

“It’s a truly exciting time to be involved in blockchain and cryptocurrency projects, and I am eager to provide my knowledge of best practices in entrepreneurship, business and regulatory matters to clients, and to the future of the industry at large.”
