The Indian government has restricted trading of crypto in India. It's not banned though but the local exchanges have figured out the method to trade using p2p mechanism. So, what do you guys think will it have an impact on the whole crypto market?

Africa is covered by demand for crypto-currencies !!!

Now Bitkoin.Africa allows customers from all African countries to buy bitcoins, quickly and without problems.
Nigeria became the first country to exchange P2P digital assets, seeking to facilitate access to bitcoin throughout the African region.
Bitkoin.Africa was launched by a team of Nigerian developers on October 1
Have a nice day, everyone! Wink

This is the long and slow death of Bitcoin as there are not really anyone new who wants to use it (let's face it, there is no use at all, only "investment"), and as current Bitcoin-believers are slowly becoming fewer and fewer, the price will continue this long slow death-spiral

Bitcoin Forum / Bitcoin failed as a currency
« on: August 30, 2018, 04:46:55 PM »
Bitcoin was supposed to be used as a currency, not only a form of investment. However, it's been more successful as a form of investment, a "speculative asset".

Do you guys think that this can change in the long term ?

Bitcoin Forum / Is Bitcoin the Biggest Bubble in Human History?
« on: August 30, 2018, 04:41:29 PM »
The market is finally showing some weakness after a wild post-election stock market run-up, and it's taking Bitcoin with it. At least so far.

Three years ago, Bitcoin was under $400, a price I thought was too high even then. As far as I'm concerned, Bitcoin has no intrinsic value and should be worth nothing. So why does anyone think it's worth thousands (and in some cases, millions) of dollars?
It's the theory of false scarcity. There are a limited number of bitcoins in the world and the usage of blockchain technology has assigned the ownership of each coin to specific wallets owned by individuals. So to take "ownership," I have to use the universal blockchain mechanism, accepted by all as valid, to transfer a coin.

Bitcoin Forum / How do you invest in Bitcoin?
« on: August 29, 2018, 07:41:04 PM »
Short-term Bitcoin investment

Easily manage your currency, minimize to the very lowest risk as listed above (Politics, the bankruptcy floor, the coin itself changes) except the risk price fluctuations. Disadvantages: You may not be able to sell Bitcoin at good prices, profit as medium and long term investment, even much less than profitable. For example, buy Bitcoin for $ 2300 and sell it for $ 2700 in a week or two.

Medium term Bitcoin investment
Compared to short-term, medium-term investment, the objective risks will increase slightly, but the return you will be better. Buy Bitcoin for $ 5xxx from May and hold until August for $ 10xxx. But obviously you see, if you put money on the BTC-E you could lose the money.

Long-term Bitcoin investment
Bitcoin Investors are long term investors who believe in the future of Bitcoin, ETH or any of the currencies they invest in and do not care about price fluctuations and price adjustments in the short term. Normally these investors will be cold-stored, storing those coins offline to avoid risks from the floor, but there is still the political risk and the coin itself. Advantageous: This is the most profitable investment, and of course, when it's not worth it, it's still coin, not your money. If there is a problem (the longer the time, the higher the probability), the longer the investor loses the most damage.

Conclusion should invest Bitcoin or not?
The writer himself or other experts can not predict the future, predict the objective story should choose the short-term investment, long-term, medium term or even investment is in you. You have to anticipate the market trends as well as the risks we have made and decide for yourself. Bitcoin has had impressive growth over the past seven years, but things are still changing, or rising or falling. The only advice from me is not to be too risky, do not put eggs in the same basket and do not need stigma, run away the opportunity.

Hi guys, just wondering about other peoples opinion on this.

In order for the world of Crypto to grow and be mass-adopted, do you think crypto needs to step out of the shadow of Bitcoin or do you think its the other way round and that people should scoop up Bitcoin and let it always rule the roost?

I only say this as any sort of negativity that Bitcoin receives, shouldn't really affect some promising projects and cryptos that are essentially doing their own thing and making their own progress- only to be pegged back by Bitcoin losing value!

Yes i understand that all cryptos are tethered to the price of BTC, but will it/should it always be that way?

Bitcoin Forum / What cannot be bought by cryptocurrency?

Crptocurrency is becoming more and more popular and companies big and small are also slowly getting into crypto. However my question is what, if there is any, is something that cannot be bought by crypto right now and do you think it will ever change if crypto becomes an official global currency

Hi! Smiley I'd like to refer to IOTA having been in the news lately.

I've never been in a QA part of a company and cannot judge what way of communication they have, what they sign, and what structure this is. But according to a Fujitsu employee IOTA resembles QA processes the best. At least this is what I took from a news text about the endorsement.

So, how does QA (at Fujitsu) look like, and is it with IOTA a permissioned or a non-permissioned system? How does it work in detail?
