Are you giving suggestions to all investors or want to take suggestion from expert in trade? However, no investment in cryptocurrency is risk free. Risk is the part of investment. Those who want to take risk, have enough money and time for research, can invest his money on right time  either in BTC, ETH or other altcoins. Every emerge has a recession whether it is trade in crypto or share markets in your local country. You have to take decision when should be invested, sold, reinvested, converted into stable coins (usdt, usdc, dai, busd etc).

Yes you can, If you have knowledge and experience about trading , I think you can invest in bitcoin and Ethereum for trading. Because they are more profitable for trading and short term now. For long, I think more risky.

In your title you said is it possible to invest in Bitcoin and Ethereum, the answer is Yes. It is really possible. All you need to have is money converted to Bitcoin or Ethereum. So you can buy in short if you have assets or money.
Secondly mate you don't give suggestions on this post, you just give your opinion mate and ask questions. But of course you have a good idea. We can invest in Bitcoin anytime but there are risk if we do that. Therefore we need knowledge and proper timing on doing so.

You can invest in Bitcoin or Ethereum mate, both of these coins have the potential for a high price in the future.  But if I may give advice, investing in Ethereum may be more potential right now because the price is still cheap, while the price of Bitcoin is too high to buy.

You are not giving suggestion mate. What I observed is you are asking what you should do. It is always risky to invest in cryptocurrency specifically now when Bitcoin reach $23,000 and Eth $610.
