Dash is designed to have a total supply of 18 million coins.

At present, the circulating supply of Dash is 7.4 million, and it will reach 18 million in the year 2300 (when none of us will be alive).

Dash has a variable block reward which decreases at a 7.1 % rate each year. The average block mining time is 2.5 minutes on the Dash blockchain, which makes it four times faster than Bitcoin.

I dont think that the dash18millions total supply makes it better than bitcoin, but i think that Dash offers users instant transactions and private transactions. DASH coin operates as a self-governing and self-supporting structure. This means that the users who make payments with the DASH coin network are able to use and increase the value of the network. Dash coin operates using a decentralized government and budgeting system making it a Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO).

Dash coin supply is not like other coin like Bitcoin that is why price value of Dash coin has a been decreasing now.

Yes, Dash will be faster than bitcoin in terms of transactions but that will not make it better than it. Anyway I hope it wouldn’t be a bad idea to hold some Dash for the long term.
