[Twitter campaign] Helping each other

Hello all.

I have a big project which is to reach the 1500 followers on twitter in order to make good twitter campaign.
Actually i have 863 follower as you can see :

Maybe we all can helping each other ?

My idea :
I made a google excel doc here :

If everyone go here and fill this document with his pseudo, his twitter link and follow every day or every week all person who fill this doc, we can all have more follower and made good twitter campaign.

People who want followers will inevitably return. But at some point yes some will leave that's for sure.
But the people active on this site will always be present I think.

Let's try it for now and then we'll see.

Here are some tips i learned along the way to increasing your twitter followers:

add #followback in the box to the left

whoever that does follow you, check who follows them.  you'll find the most recent ppl that subscribed and you'll usually get a followback within the day.

check the person's twitter acct to see how active they are.  I usually follow ppl who shows activities within the last 24hrs.

You're going to want a pretty balanced followers and following ratio.  i typically do not follow ppl who has alot of followers and low numbers of following.  chances are they're going to unfollow you in the near future.  Same goes with too many following and no followers.  those accts gets flagged more often than not by twitter. plus those accts typically won't unfollow you if you do not follow them back.  most likely they're shell accts created to cheat in bounties.

mute everyone you follow in hopes of receiving a followback except for your bounty sign-up twitter accts you have to follow.  much easier to go down the list and unfollow ppl who aren't following you and not accidentally unfollow a bounty twitter acct you have to follow.  there's programs out there to do that as well but i find them not too reliable.

But I have a problem, i follow so many people and my ratio isn't good.
But i don't know how to see people i followed which not follewed me in return.
It's complicate with a huge number of followers.
Do you have an advice for that ? Just see poeple who don't follow us ?

The idea is good and I think this can be effective. The only problem is when there are members that do not cooperate well by making a follow back.

For the only problem, if someone didn't respect the rule or don't play this game, everyone can unfollow him and problem will solve.

Yes, I think it's the best think to do. Unfollow the people who unfollow you.

one more thing, the ppl who follows you back might not show up in chronological order.  Person could follow you back but it might be way down on your list of followers so you might want to scroll down a bit to double check.

I'm joining you in this initiative, I filled out the google doc.
A lot of interesting info has been given by linkdefeu and sw1911, I will apply all this and see how many followers I can have.
