Will altcoins survive a long time like bitcoin?

I believed that altcoins will survive a long time we can't say that today because all know that bitcoin works is more popular compared to it. All things needs time and i think altcoins need that too so we need to wait until this will go up higher. I just need your ideas what's your thoughts on this topic.

I think there is several reason why altcoins can survive like bitcoin. Bitcoin has good popularity and bitcoin has biggest market cap.
I think if altcoins has good team, good project, it will survive and can compete with bitcoin. I see Ethereum, ripple ,USDT, polkadot etc are good coin and very potential. They are also popular and can be accepted by many people.
I believe at the coming future , there is many potential altcoins, Let's see.

Survival to all cryptos in not possible.  This is only for those altcoins that holds potential—they are the promising cryptos where all investors make profit by taking the risk. That's why no wonder some altcoins dump the price right after they mange to enter in exchanger.

Many altcoins will not survive in a long run but some will survive for decades as they offer a technology which can't be ignored. Cryptocurrency mass adoption is increasing with brilliant use cases, which won't be ignored in the market. We just need to know which projects to invest and stick with in a long run and which ones we should day trade and take profits before it crashes.
