I wish they were cheaper, but you have to understand the fact that they cost money is a necessity to some extent. If transactions were free people could flood the network with mindless transactions over and over and no one could transfer anything, similar to a DDOS attack on a server. You must have fees, otherwise other tokens that compete with you are incentivized to shut your network down whenever they want so people stop using it. Ethereum experiences this to some degree, when their network gets clogged it really sucks, so maybe their fees are too small. One way or another, fees are a necessity though, in my opinion.
