Alexey Akhunov, the independent software developer that built the software, told CoinDesk that unlike many other scaling solutions, Turbo Geth looks at tackling ethereum's so-called state, instead of transaction congestion and costs.

 The term "state" in this context describes the every-increasing history of all computations of the network. By rewriting Geth, the Ethereum Foundation's in-house software for interacting with the blockchain, Akhunov said, he's cut storage down to one-fifth its current size.

 This approach allows ethereum nodes to run on cheaper hardware. What's more, it's something that many in the ethereum community are passionate about because less expensive hardware helps keep the network decentralized.

For some other reasons, I beg to disagree with the creator of ethereum. Some giants firm and personalities uses their name to promote the project to the market. This is because influencial names attract many investors to the project they created. Let's say, bill gates create his cryptocurrency and name cryptogates in honor to his name.. Does the names won't sound a bill to the crypto world? I think it will draw so much attention not just from the cryptominded people but to all people around the world.. Naming a project after the creators names is a very good form of advertising if the creator is well known to everyone in this planet.

There is good progress of ethereum development from Chinese. A Chinese court has ruled that Ethereum enjoys the same legal protection as a property.
The Shanghai Hongkou District Court ruled that Ethereum and other cryptocurrencies are not classified as money but have the same legal protection as owning property, a post on Baidu, the Chinese internet search engine portal similar to Google, said. 
The case stemmed from the fundraising done by a Beijing-based technology company in August 2017 involving Bitcoin and Ethereum. However, the company was forced to return the company to investors after the Chinese government ordered a ban on initial coin offerings.
However, because of an operational error, the company sent 20 Ethereum to the wrong investor. The technology firm tried to recover the ETH from the wrong recipient, but the investor cut all communication and refused to return the digital currency. The company then took the matter to court and filed charges against the investor.
