新韩银行与移动运营商KT将应用区块链于金融和公共部门新业务

8月13日消息，据cryptonews报道，韩国最大的商业银行之一新韩银行(Shinhan)宣布，将使用韩国最大的移动运营商之一KT开发的新的高速区块链平台。韩国电信(KT)和新韩(Shinhan)将寻求将区块链驱动的解决方案应用于“新业务”领域，尤其是在金融和公共部门。
 
据报道，去年该银行测试了一个虚拟的比特币保险库——一种替代的安全存储系统，用于谨慎使用第三方钱包服务或在外汇账户中存储令牌的投资者。新韩银行是韩国为数不多的允许客户通过政府认可的实名制、社会保障号码认证账户提取和存入韩元兑换加密货币的几家银行之一。
 
该银行还在与日本和韩国的银行合作伙伴一起，研究以区块链为动力的B2B金融转移技术。
