Bitcoins are expencive so not for everybody. Therfore I recommend Futurocon as everyone can afort them. Also I think they are very good for the beginer like me. I can learn trading with not big risk of loosing money in this hard times for altcoins. Price of FTO is going slowly up: https://frontend.coindeal.com/market/trade.html?pair=FTO/BTC

Since I joined this forum I did not invest even small amount, because before we think to invest in crypto we should analyze how it works and how to play to the market.

My first token that I buy is Ethereum, cause I'm bounty hunter/join airdrop. So I need some eth to transfer token from my wallet to exchange.

Of course the first cryptocurrency that I ever bought is bitcoin because it is the most famous cryptocurrency. Moreover, many faucets are there for bitcoin but this is around two years ago before the halving and the worth of bitcoin that time is around $300 so it is cheaper compared to the price now. I made a mistake though in investing in cloud mining sites and I became greedy that's why I lost what I bought. It should have been worth a lot nowadays.

Once a new coin comes into the market, it fairly unknown and can be mined easily as there are not a lot of miners interested in it. As it starts getting some traction and recognition in the community, people start turning their attention and rigs towards it making it more difficult to mine with every new rig that enters its network.

The first time I invested, I only invested my money in bitcoin because I didn't have more knowledge about altcoin. I see bitcoin as a potential coin, popular and has a very high market volume compared to altcoins. That's why I only held bitcoin when I started investing.
"When new bounty?"

I got inspired to invest in FTO by interview with Dennies O'Niell, investment Banker with over 25 years experience. It's tempting to buy more FTOs:

You hit the bull's-eye @AileenUK. The first coin which I invested in was FuturoCoin. I read that it is a new kind of cryptocurrency and I can't wait to buy! FTO was developed using Dash technology and, just like Bitcoin, it uses a p2p system. Futurocoin uses nodes too, but it also adds the so called Masternodes, which improve its process’ efficience. What’s more, with Bitcoin you have to await the transaction confirmation, which usually takes some minutes. Futurocoin has conceived a faster confirmation, which only needs 4 seconds. So, that's how it all started with my investments.
