又有鱷魚傷人事件，美國南卡州的希爾頓海德島傳出鱷魚咬死人的意外事件。一名45歲的婦女Cassandra Cline今天(20日)在私人住宅度假村溜狗時，為了保護自己的狗，而活活被長達8英尺的鱷魚拖進水裡並遭鱷魚攻擊，不幸喪命。

當地警方表示，這隻攻擊人的鱷魚後來被找到，並被施以安樂死。警方指出，從現場狀況看來，應該是飼主發現鱷魚在追自己的狗，但試圖保護狗的過程遭鱷魚攻擊，小狗沒有受傷。
