Will bitcoin replace gold?

I think it's impossible. Gold has existed for thousands of years and this precious metal will always be the most significant. The whole economy of the world is based on it as all countries are provided with their gold and currency reserves. Bitcoin is virtual money, which is still in use only in isolated cases.
