Post & activity requirements for rank up

Hello guys ,
   I am a noob on this forum.i saw a post saying the required number of posts for ranking up.

Jr. Member > 20 posts
Full Member > 60 posts
Sr. Member > 120 posts
Hero Member > 400-500 posts


But I also see a new member rank and this post is also very old. Are the requirements still the same ? Does Karma affect ranking up ? Which roles need karma to rank up. Hope some experienced forum.memeber can shed some light.

ranking rely on activity, not on the posts. In some sections the posts aren't counting. Also if you reach the specific activity very soon, next posts will not count in the activity.
Member rank is somewhere between Jr. Member and Full Member. 
You need karma only for highest ranks. But don't worry, if you don't break rules here, you will receive some karma soon.

ranking rely on activity, not on the posts. In some sections the posts aren't counting. Also if you reach the specific activity very soon, next posts will not count in the activity.

I love the way you share your thoughts. 

There are fundamentals for being in this forum specifically "for beginners guide."  Almost every fundamentals including ranks, activities, karma, how to insert image, members, and badges etc, are provided. I will not site links just want to leave it with you to discover them. 

This is the time you need to read and read as newbie. I'm not underestimating you rather just want to say your 5 days of reading and navigations equals to lifetime knowledge is more important.

This is a very nice question, there are actually certain amount of post and activities you need to do to get to a certain rank or position but for you to be able to operate here without any problem you need to read very well about the forum to ensure that you don't go against the rules and regulations of the forum

To attain a particular rank in the altcoinstalks forum requires a particular amount of post for example when you get up to 40 post count you will be moved to the baby steps rank, and to reach the Jr. Member rank you need up to 46 post count, what that means is that the higher the post the higher the rank.

You have to go ahead to post and one day your rank will change.
 It will take 46 posts to become a junior member
 It takes 90 posts to become a member
  It will take 136 posts to become a full member
 It will take 312 posts to become a senior member
 It will take 765 posts to become a Hero member
 To become a legendary member, you need 1200 posts
 It will take 5000 posts to become a Maithel member
 It will take 10000 posts to become a Padwan member.
