Is token based on neo platform free fee?

Hi all.
As bounty hunter and sometimes join airdrop, I've found with several platform such as: ETH, Waves, Neo, etc.
But I found unique thing about Neo platform.
I sent my token from my neo wallet to my friend's wallet. I shocked when see there is no fee to transfer.

Any body here can explain why that happened?

Absolutely yes! And did you see how fast the transaction is?
I love NEO!
Recently devs added a limit of 20 free transactions to a block as a spam countermeasure. There were several spams attacks on the blockchain, basically some addresses were spamming the network with thousands of micro transactions, so the devs introduced a new function that allows you to pay some GAS ( even  0.00000001) to give your transaction priority.. but still you can get your free transactions!

Can you explain more info about 20 free transactions? Do you mean 20 free transactions per day or per wallet? Thanks dude.

20 free transactions per block! There's a block every 30 seconds or so, if you add the small fee your transaction gets added in the last block even if there are already 20.

Very interesting, I didn't know that about neo. Hopefully more ico's use them, low transactions do a lot for a coin.
