Basic Questions about Cryptos / Re: Bitcoin or Etherum?
« Last post by MrSpasybo on Today at 10:14:51 PM »
What would be the best investment for a better profit?
Well, we're talking about profits, but no one wants to use price charts and data. I'm happy to do that, as a few imgs will help us understand each other better.

In the 2017 bull run, BTC yielded a profit of 10723% ~ x108, while ETH yielded a profit of 310983% ~ x3110.

In the 2021 bull run, BTC yielded a profit of 1866% ~ x19, while ETH yielded a profit of 6417% ~ x65.

These figures show that ETH has higher returns than BTC. This means that investing in ETH will give investors more profit in the same cycle.

In general, I see BTC as a very safe option in this market, accompanied by an unimpressive price appreciation potential. ETH, on the other hand, balances both safety and price appreciation performance. The choice will depend on the investment appetite of each investor.

It's been three years since the COVID-19 pandemic happened, and there are many people who are yet to forget their experience during that time.

Many people lost their lives, their jobs, properties, etc because of COVID-19. Each time they remember the COVID-19 pandemic, they feel deeply hurt because of what they have lost during the cause of COVID-19 pandemic. However, if you ask anyone about how the sees the Covid-19 pandemic, they will tell you is a pain and unforgotten ordeal for the whole world not to forget

Nigerian Languages / Re: Shit posting
« Last post by Cryptsafe on Today at 10:12:21 PM »
Are we in trouble? Mind you he's posts are not entirely bad but I'm just curious how he's able to write more than 10+ in a space of few minutes apart. Normally reading OP and some replies before posting should take more than 5 mins depending on length of discussion. Is this guy bot?

Ps: didn't temper with any of his posts yet....
When I see this, I was also wondering how, because  I know this guy is good in some areas, I have sent him before too. I don't think he is a bot. I think he is using more than one device or he opened more tap and open the threads he wants to comment and keep them. And start the operation of commenting one after the other. Just wait and see how it goes. And to enwi, you are not even in a campaign so why the rush? Calm down. That is spamming, therefore avoid it.

Your views are correct. Possibly he might be using multiple device for his posting which I believe is likely the result of his post being so timely as regards to the timing. Looking at it the other way round just as you have said, he must have opened multiple tabs because one can open much tabs on their browsers as the case may be while browsing the internet. This is likely the scenario that has resulted to him being engulfed in this situation.

These are the reasons why it is advised for one to read forum rules before involving themselves in activities so as to avoid this type of scenarios. I was wondering if the person that introduced him here did not guide him properly or he is just being too hyper active here. I wish the issue of his account being tagged never happened and I can not do anything about it.

Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling: for fun or to earn money?
« Last post by LUCKMCFLY on Today at 10:02:37 PM »
It seems to me that its entirely possible to combine the fun of gambling with earning money. if you are a professional sports bettor you can enjoy both the thrill and the income it brings. As for slots you can also play them for money but it's important to approach this responsibly. Don't quit your main job right away! :)
Jokes aside. it's true that we all love money but anything that clouds a clear mind is not a winning strategy.

We will always be people who will seek to earn more and whenever possible we will try to do so, sometimes greed is one of the things that can make us lose control and because of these things mistakes begin and those mistakes when we do not correct them because it makes us go in the only direction of addiction, so every time we are in a casino it is easy, if we have Losses then we Assume them, but if we win we have to withdraw the money, there is no other option, for that we have to be clear about what we are looking for, in We cannot fail that, and it is also better to always be Depositing and playing with a controlled balance than to be putting in much more money and that is Another mistake. So the fewer errors we have, the better for everything.

Cryptocurrency Price Speculations / Re: What are the odds
« Last post by MrSpasybo on Today at 09:54:21 PM »
History repeats itself till it does so no more!

Bitcoin has broken all patterns to date and it will continue to do so, people clung to things live never going below the previous ATH, like no double  ATH during a cycle, no bull run before the halving, one has to understand that we had just three cycles, it's such a low pool of data that you can't draw patterns out of it!

Plus, there is the change in the economic environment, the ban in China, and the approval of Bitcoin ETF, how were those present in previous cycles, and furthermore, if there had been no halving, would that have meant no bull run? Of course not! Past experience means nothing, if suddenly the US would ban crypto due you think patterns will matter anymore? If China would say Bitoin is legal tomorrow won't we have a bull run prior to the expected date again?
But most important of all, if everyone thinks that it will take 4 months for the bull run won't everyone just buy now and dump then, artificially creating and ending the bull run just because they think it should happen when it's all a matter of their own actions?
Current technical cycle-based analysts are quite confused because BTC has created a new history for itself: a new low below the previous cycle's peak, a new ATH before halving. Based on history and the belief that BTC price will repeat history, we have no basis for continuing to predict BTC price movements in this bullrun. The only thing I can think of is cyclicity: BTC has peaked in 2013 - 2017 - 2021, so I also expect the peak of this cycle to come in 2025.

Looking back in the past, facing BTC price volatility or rather the volatility of their account balances, investors are always confused because there are too many choices and we can always buy and sell easily 24/7. At the 2020-halving, we also had a new history when BTc price dropped sharply just before the halving, or many traders also doubted the ability of BTC price to continue to create new peaks as in the past. The boredom of cyclicity & the strangeness of new history, both make it difficult for investors to make decisions.

I think we don't need to focus on speculating future, we should continue to hold faith in the bullrun, while not forgetting to prepare for actions when the market has unusual fluctuations. I will still wait for BTC price to reach $150K-170K in 2025 8)

Is there a problem when transferring directly to these exchanges or is it better to send to a Non-custodial wallet first?
Are you planning to use coinjoin after that? I don't think sending to a non-custodial wallet and then exchanging directly is going to solve the issue of exchanges identifying where your money comes from. I remember reading that some exchanges track the previous 5 transactions or so to decide whether the transaction is directly connected to a malicious transaction or not. CMIIW.

Yes, large exchanges have the ability to track such transactions, but I do not expect that they do this except for large transactions because tracking all transactions costs a lot of money.

In any case, I prefer to follow the advice of Coinomize.biz
If you want 100% security, choose our Exchanger funds, with which you can deposit to any wallet.

Then finally, for more security, I can transfer the funds to a new wallet using Coinjoin.

Any investment is freedom, but you shouldn’t forget that (what kind of freedom?) if for this you have to work for decades and buy Bitcoin, then I don’t think that this is the right decision, I think that if you have little money, then you only need to invest in your training and not in Bitcoin, investing in Bitcoin is better left to people who are already firmly on their own two feet.
Anyone can invest in Bitcoin if they have the capital to do so, if they want to learn and try investing with capital from bounties and airdrops, that is also a good step. and freedom also does not mean for those who can stand strong on their own, but those who want to be better for their economy can also invest here
There is no discrimination in being able to invest in Bitcoin. Anyone who has more funds can do that if they are interested, so there are no restrictions for certain people.
I agree that if you really want to learn how to make initial investments, it can be from capital obtained from airdrops or bounties, so that there is no fear of losing, because the capital comes from prize money.
Indeed, it would be better if you invest using funds that are not connected to your daily needs, aka extra funds, not precisely the funds needed for your needs. It will be detrimental if you make a mistake in your analysis.

Economics , Sociology & Politics / Re: Why do we pay taxes?
« Last post by JoyMarsha on Today at 09:43:41 PM »
What makes one a bonafide citizen of a country is when they stay out of crime and pay their tax. A citizen not paying tax simply means they are not in support of the government towards the country's development and infrastructure. The income generated from taxes paid goes along with footing some government bills. It would not be an idea for someone who calls themselves a bonafide citizen of a country to refuse to pay their tax and blame the government for not performing their duty in infrastructure development
